I received this page after only a day or two with an estimated delivery date of 10 days later!!! Super!!! The pods come 18 in a beautifully quality packaged box and all 12 boxes came in a cardboard box. It looked freshly packaged!! The coffee is a good a quality italian blend. Nice froth and great coffee aroma. My husband is Italian and has been drinking expresso coffee for years. I would recommend this product for anyone interested in purchasing the soft pods. Soft pods are by far better environmentally friendly!!! I highly recommend!! Grazie Illy for quality, taste, style, cost effectiveness, sustainability and transparency!!!!

The price is what drew me to order these pods. I am older, have been enjoying espresso for 50 years, but no longer want to use a traditional espresso machine or grind my own beans. I really like the combination of the Illy pod machine and the ESE pods, I use ESE pods every day for 4 or 5 non-sweetened soy lattes, using filtered water. My SO drinks a couple of heavily sweetened espresso drinks, such as mochas or drinks with syrup, daily. Since he's changing the flavor so much, it doesn't matter to him that the pods are older. I ordered these pods January of 2024, and the use by date is June, 2024, so it's not as if they aren't useable, but I'm picky. With my appetite for espresso, I'll use them up before they expire, but the fact that the pods are dated as being packed in 2022, is off-putting, and I think they aren't as richly flavorful as new ones.

Illy makes my favorite espresso, and ESE pods are very, very easy. I remember when these came in a fancy metal tin, but the individually wrapped pods are actually fresher. Bought the case of 12 because of the drastically lower per-unit cost.
