Gel Blaster Nova 2-Pack Red and Blue Nova w/ 60,000 Gellets and Two Sets of Safety Glasses

I don't use these for playing Army with the kids in the neighborhood. Instead, I use them as a tool for flock management with the ducks that we raise. I used to use a water pistol and then a Super Soaker but the geese and male ducks learn how to stay out of range. This water ball shooter does not hurt them but it is highly effective at touching them up to 75' away and they really don't like to be touched.I started out using the Gel Blaster Surge (a different product from the same vendor) because its specs showed higher performance. I am sad to say that the Surge pistols were completely unsatisfactory, failing within 6-8 weeks of purchase. To their credit, the company bought a failed set of Surge pistols back from me when I wrote them a bad review. And I used the funds to buy another pair but the result was the same, 5-6 weeks later they became unreliable.I found the Gel Blaster Nova at Costco and bought a pair. My experience with them led me to buy a second pair here on Amazon as they have been very satisfactory farm tools. Powerful, fast, and reliable.Why the difference? My use is not like kids playing where you would charge up the battery, fill the gellet bottle and go shooting. When done it gets dried out and stored for playing another day. Instead, I keep these loaded and ready to go 24 hours/day for many days. This type of use seems to accelerate the failure of the Surge pistols but the Nova pistols have shown no such deterioration even when left loaded for weeks. I am now going on three months of reliable operation and recommend them for flock management. They're probably also pretty good for playing combat with the other kids but I don't know any other 67-year olds in my neighborhood that have some.

I’ve got 4 sets, and they’re great. The batteries last forever, and they’re incredibly cheap to run. Accuracy is not fantastic but range on the high speed barrel is impressive. 100% would recommend, they’re tons of fun.
