Colorectal Screening from Quest® - home collection kit - fecal immunochemical test (FIT) - recommended for adults 45+

This kit was easy to use and I got my results quickly! It is not invasive at all - no poking or stabbing. It gave me peace of mind. Being near 45 years old, I was worried about my risk of colorectal cancer and this test was easy to use. Seeing a kit from a trusted company like Quest was an added bonus! I would highly recommend and I plan on screening again next year too.

Collecting for the kit is easy, with simple and straightforward instructions. Used the QR code that linked to the site. Everything there was a simple as could be as well. Sent it off on a Monday (must drop it off at a FedEx), and had the results by Thursday. The only negatives here, were my results. Very glad I did this.

These are similar to the hemocult cards our practice used to use back in the day and I am now of the age where this screening needs to be done! It was easy to collect the speciment and prepare it; not as unpleasant as one would think especially compared to the actual procedure. I felt relief upon seeing my results and it's a great way to have some peace of mind before scheduling an actual colo appointment.

This colorectal screening is great. It's very affordable and couldn't be more convenient. You simply take a small fecal sample at home, mail it off, and receive your results in a few days. The results were easy to read and since it's from Quest I'm confident in the validity of the test. Note that this is just a FIT test that screens for blood in fecal matter, so it's not a replacement for a proper colonoscopy. Overall - excellent product and super convenient, assuming you are looking for just a FIT test and nothing more thorough.

Picked this up because there is a family history but I have had no symptoms or signs of anything wrong. I think it offers a nice piece of mind for someone that is a bit of a worry wart. I am still waiting for results but will update when they arrive but the process is incredibly easy and everything you need is in the kit. This does not and will not make up for seeing a Dr in person and getting the necessary annuals and such but it aids in a little piece of mind between screenings.

I was actually glad to be able to do this colorectal screening at home. The only tricky part is that you have to perform the test and drop it off at FedEx all within the same weekday - it cannot be done on the weekend. The steps are fairly simple and easy, but reading the instructions thoroughly is very important before you get started. The box comes with a couple of brushes for the collections, garbage bags, and the small square test kit that you brush the collection on. The small square test kit gets sealed with the ID label, and it goes within the included prepaid FedEx envelope once done and then you drop it off at FedEx. I followed all of the instructions to a "T" and that was over two weeks ago and I never received the results or any further communication from Quest. Even though I registered it with my Quest login, there's not a way to get back to this test within my account to even check for results. They were supposed to email once the results were ready. I'm pretty disappointed.
