They work! Well!!
I switched from using a basic ceramic coat to these 3M Clear Coat wipes, because I began getting complaints of early hazing on headlights after restorations... I have used these now, and I have to say, it hasn't been much time, but so far, the after-result of a headlight cleaning service looks exponentially much better than before. These work, and they're a TRUE clear coat. Increases the lumen output of old hazy lights. If you're strapped for time or don't know how to restore lenses, a simple cleaning of your hazy lens with a cloth and glass cleaner/soap, and 2 of these wipes will drastically increase your nighttime visibility! They're very easy to use, the instructions are very clear (as per usual with 3M products), and the price for 40 of these was unbeatable! Highly recommend.

3M sealer worked amazing after I restored the headlights!
I used the T-240KT Turtle Wax headlight restore kit on my 2003 Honda headlights. Worked AMAZING! It comes with 4 sanding pads and enough lubricant and finishing polish to probably do the headlights on 15 cars! Drawback? Only comes with one set of sealer. Meaning, meaning enough to seal 1 pair of headlights. That’s where this 3M sealant comes into play. I had just used the T-240KT Turtle Wax kit to restore the headlights on a 2011 Mazda3 Sport . Attached in this review are the before and after pics. But I needed a sealer and so I bought this 3M sealer. The headlights looked great before I used the sealer, but after wiping the headlights with this sealer……WOW! These 3M sealer wipes work GREAT! Headlights look BRAND NEW and are now protected.

Just ok so far
They worked pretty good on our Chevy Equinox, but not on my Jeep Rubicon. It started to peal on the Jeep after about 3 months. They give you enough to fix it, so I will see how that works when it warms up a bit.

Best of it's kind
If you clean/sand down your foggy looking headlights, you MUST provide a protective UV coating or they will look just as bad in a few weeks. I've been doing this for years and always use this product...in fact, I even put it on brand new headlights. If I'm putting it on headlights that are already in great shape, I do NOT use the included 3000 grit sandpaper and "rough up" the light. In that case just prep the light with alcohol solution and be sure it is clean. Then wipe the coating on as instructed. If anything goes wrong during the process, I just keep a bottle of alcohol from the pharmacy handy and use it full strength on a rag to wipe off whatever I put on, then start over. If you DO get into a situation like that, you will have some effort involved, but a rag with alcohol WILL take everything off and you simply start over. Just keep the alcohol off your paint. When this coating starts wearing off, the light will look "blotchy", with areas foggy and some still clear. This is when I take the alcohol to the light and re-apply (usually every spring). Once applied and dried, it's crystal clear and hard as diamonds. As you apply the product, you will overlap every wipe just a bit. This overlap area will be a bit thicker and will look bluish when you are putting it on. Don't worry, it will dry clear, but if you look closely, you will be able to see the line. I've not found a way around this yet but I'm working on it. It's pretty minor, you really have to be looking for it so again, don't worry. Other products that are spray-on are most likely just clear coat in a different package, and clear coating a lens has drawbacks. In my experience, this is absolutely the best solution. Cleaning a lens can be done with those sanding kits you can get here or elsewhere, but honestly, the most effective tool I found in MOST situations is a rag, some baking soda, and water. Make a slurry or paste wit water and baking soda, put some on the rag and rub like crazy. Keep your pattern random and the light will get sanded and polished at the same time. The grit size of baking soda seems to work well as a one-step solution for foggy headlights. Once clean, rinse THOROUGHLY and dry the light just as well before applying the 3M treatment.

Huge Time and Money Saver
Ive been restoring headlight since I was 16. I started it on my first car, others saw how clear they looked and wanted me to do theirs. The only problem I had was that it took way too long to tape, prep, spray a clear, and let it dry before seeing the results. I also almost always had a problem with the spray on clear coats cracking as it dried, from either the humidity, temperature or prep, etc. I then found a turtle wax kit that had enough of everything to do 4-5 cars, but never enough clear coat wipes to do more than one set. After buying this 40ct, this is a HUGE time and money saver. I always have 600 through 3000 grit sandpaper and polish on hand, but never enough clear. Now I don't think ill run out any time soon. With this, I don't have to tape anything off (free hand edges of the light, the center of them I use my m12 polisher), it applies very smoothly, and flashes faster than most spray clear coats. Ive done 3 cars with it, and haven't had an issue with it fogging or cracking. I have found that its a little more "troublesome" trying to keep it from overlapping too much and getting thick. So, when it does, after the second coat, ill go over it with 3000 grit (sometimes 5000) and polish again then apply a light third coat. It dries/flashes fast enough that by the time I'm done with one light, I can do the next. Every time, it comes out crystal clear. I would take note, its a good idea to wear some gloves, but if you don't, some rubbing alcohol and warm water will take it off skin.

3M Product Worth Every Penny!
Just got done using this 3M Headlight Restoration Kit on my mom's 20+ y/old Hyundai Tucson. I have no experience restoring headlights, but have used 3M products all my life, so I knew I could trust their expertise. People, I watched their product videos on YouTube for a half hour, read the instruction booklet, gathered a bucket with a little soap and water, paper towels, painters tape, and the 3M Kit...and an hour and a half later, my mom's headlights are restored! The car is safe to drive at night! What a fantastic, affordable fix!

Fiyatına göre başarılı olduğunu düşünüyorum
Ürün küçük bir ıslak mendil kadar . Ancak iki fara da yetti. 4 aşamalı zımparadan sonre iki farada uyguladım . Hemen kuruyor . Tek ve en büyük handikapı fırça ile boya sürmüş gibi iz oluyor . Yakından bakmazsanız sorun yok. Parlatma iyi. Ne kadar ömürlü olur zaman gösterecek.

Must have.
If you are trying to clear up oxidized headlight lenses you absolutely need this or a similar product. After removing the top layer of oxidation, you need to apply this to get the lenses ABSOLUTELY clear. It's like a magic trick!

Works really well, It's all in the preparation. Do it well...Do it once!
Works really well, like anything... it's all about the preparation so don't skimp on that! No long term view yet but did them two weeks ago and done about 700 motorway miles since. I was sceptical about applying a smooth even coat using a 'wipe' but it works really well. Don't expect deeper cracks to disappear completely (for that you need MORE preparation) although they will improve and the coating should hopefully help prevent them getting worse. Two wipes were plenty to do both headlamps, in fact I think they would also have done the rear lights too which I'm definitely going to do!
