Grolsch bottles 6 pack - 16 oz swing top bottles easy cap beer bottles, leak proof

These bottles do not seal tightly enough for brewing kombucha. I have similar grolsch-type bottles by Otis Classic that seal tightly. These do not. The shape is slightly different too, and maybe that also affects the seal. The main thing is the white cap-thing. It's slightly smaller and also a cheaper, more translucent plastic. When I blew a big batch of 'buch, only the buch' in the Otis Classic bottles gets great carbonation. These get little to none, so they are a total failure for secondary bottle fermentation. .

Bottles are perfect for kombucha but small opening makes it a challenge to add fruit purée and to clean them. I did find a great cleaning brush set on Amazon and the one specifically for these bottles works perfect so make sure you get a brush to clean them. I will be purchasing more from them.

I have used all six bottles for kombucha and every one sealed nicely. They are the perfect size for my fridge and travel cooler. I am thrilled with my purchase.

The bottles are nice, with a decent mechanism, but the plastic to seal the bottle is really crap.

I bought these when my family had a hot sauce making competition. They worked great and didn't leak. They were bigger than I expected but that's probably my fault for not reading the measurements before I ordered

These were the perfect bottles for Christmas time. I make homemade Crema de Vie (Cuban version of spiked egg nog) and it was the perfect size! They don’t spill when placed sideways. They are thick and durable glass, so they don’t break. I will definitely be ordering more next Christmas time.

The closures are very sturdy. I expect they will last a long time. I use them to bottle my Kombucha.

Just love em, like the way the cap closes and they are great for water on my night stand no spill if knocked over easy open no unscrewing and screwi9ng top-s back on..

I bought these for bottling kombucha. Sometimes they have carbonation after the 2nd fermentation and sometimes they don't at all. It might be cause of the lid but there is a possibility of temperature being the cause too...sometimes. Once I noticed it hissing out of the lid when I picked it up to put in the fridge, but sometimes it has a lot of pop when I open it too. I make sure now I put the lid on good initially to hope it doesn't escape. I think the rubber gasket thingy could be just a tad bit bigger and would work better. But all in all for the price it is good.

Very happy with my purchase. used these for bottling homemade hard apple cider. When it came time to pasturize the bottles I found that a few lids couldnt take the pressure. But I'm fairly sure that this was due to me over filling those bottles as the ones that had more space in the neck of the bottle were fine. Overall very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this seller

Two lids were a little funny and dont seem to seal correctly, great price for 6 wish I was able to use all 6 though!

The size is great. But the seal on the top is not very tight. Could use a thicker gasket.

No cracks or kombucha explosions yet! They have a good seal even if the rubber doesn't always line up properly. Good value!
