This Uniki charger is a total lifesaver for my Makita tools. My old charger was slower than a snail on vacation, but this one juices up my batteries fast enough to keep me working instead of napping. It’s compact, well-built, and doesn’t sound like a jet taking off while charging. The indicator lights are clear so I know exactly when my batteries are ready for battle again. If your Makita batteries are begging for a reliable charge, treat them to this little powerhouse. It’s the charger my toolbox didn’t know it needed!

It's ok. If you want a fast charge this isn't it. What this is is a compact portable charger. I use it in my car and when camping. It couldn't wake up an overly discharged battery so that is a negative. I wish they sold it with a 12-volt adapter for in-car charging. Fortunately, my truck has a small inverter so I can still use it but for a more universal use, a 12-volt option would be great.

Charges batteries quickly. Skip the expensive OE charging base station.

Piece of crap. Says battery charged but BARELY gets drill turning...for literally 2-3 Seconds! Spend more. This is a waste.

Very cool charger designed to charge Makita battery types. I like the idea that it has the color of traditional Makita tools, so if you have different battery types you are not fumbling around trying to figure out which one is which. It is a very compact type charger that simply fits on top of the batteries and then plugs into an AC outlet. It works for me, to keep handy as another charger. It's a good price too.

Had to return. Did not work with my Makita 18v battery.

I ordered this low profile Makita charger off of Amazon vine to have for a backup to my normal one. No problems with it so far. Charges just as fast and takes up 1/4 of the room of my normal one. I usually keep this one in my small bag with a drill and two batteries. What I like the most about it is its size. It is not bulky. Can fit just about anywhere. It even fits in my case for my drill. Right where I would usually put a box of drill bits. It has all the standard features a regular Makita charger has. Tells you if the battery is defective. charged., charging or overheated. I think it is great. A nice backup or add on for Makita tool users. Great to have for emergencies or if your normal one breaks. Thanks a ton.

This charger has a small footprint compared to the original charger for my Makita batteries. This charger even charges the larger 9.0Ah battery pack that I have. The charger shows the status of the charge via the colour changing LED. The LED will turn solid green when the charge is completed. The charger does not emit a sound when the charge is completed like the OEM charger does.

This UNIKI fast charger replacement for Makita is great. The Makita branded ones are so expensive, you might as well just get another tool that includes the charger and battery, it’s usually more economical. This charger allows one to affordably replace a charger at a decent price. The form factor is interesting, part of me likes the base unit style of the original Makita, but another part of me likes that this smaller size is still functional and more portable. Especially since I am actually using the original charger’s spot in the case for another drill, and this charger actually fits into a small area between the drill (see photo).
