I was amazed at the price of some covers advertised for the Macbook Air. When I saw this I thought I would give it a try as most of the reviews were positive. When It arrived I was pleased with the quality of the material and the neat fit. AN excellent product at an excellent price. Nuf said...

This sleeve for Mac book is excellent and fits well and protects it. What more do you need. Came on time as promised. Great when you need to throw it into a case for travelling.

The stitching around the 'mouth' of the pouch is not finished properly and opening and closing the pouch around the Macbook Air is awkward in that it takes both hands using fingers and thumbs pulling and stretching the corners in turn to perform an operation akin to putting an old fashioned pillow case on a pillow as the closure must be pulled and stretched over each corner in turn to close the otherwise open 'bag.The stretching of the material and the open corners to achieve this suggest to me that the pouch will fail quickly and I am also guessing this is why the 'mouth' of the product is so heavily stitched in such an ugly way as I suspect this is their 'compensation for a bad initial design'. The corner of the 'mouth' is already showing that the stitching is coming undone with two threads already loose after being used for one week!When the pouch is closed, a band of overlapping (double thickness) 'wetsuit like material' is stretched across the underside and the open edge of the pouch catches on other edges as, for example, one slides the pouch in a briefcase or backpack. You will notice that the images chosen by the sellers do NOT show you how this operates which makes one a little suspicious that they are aware of this shortcoming and perhaps have chosen to hide this 'feature'. The mouth quickly becomes rather open/saggy and correspondingly unsightly.In summary:Whilst the pouch works well enough, the absence of a properly designed opening/closure to the device makes an otherwise potentially attractive accessory seem ill designed and frankly a little ugly.Summary of summary:It is not slick, but It works.

wanted a sleeve for my mac book air; apples ones were £24+ - read many reviews about dangers of cheap sleeves with zips damaging the Mac, so wanted something simple, but effective. this does the job perfectly. the fold over tab on the side, secures the Mac in place and if fits nicely inside my man bag! quick service too.

First impression is nice, but the quality is not up to standard. The edge is almost broken. And sooner or later the whole thing will tear apart.

Basically, I bought this to go with an 11" Macbook Air that I was giving as a present. I was disappointed when it arrived, as it was so thin, particularly at the top, in the area where it is going to get the most stress. My mum, for whom I had bought it, said not to send it back but I think that she was just being polite. To make matters worse, I saw an identical item for sale in a pound shop 2 weeks after Christmas.It fits the Macbook Air 11" perfectly but that's about it. Fortunately, the computer is only likely to be used inside the house and so there is less chance of it getting banged through travelling.

This was bought as "LuvMac Macbook Air11inch Red and Black Reversible Sleeve Case Pouch" because it was stated as made to fit the Macbook Air 11 inch. No mention of GAGS as the manufacturer. However it is sleek, nicely made, looks and feels good and fits perfectly. It gives the protection I want without adding bulk. Less than 2 months old, too early to judge how durable it will be. As it is reversible and looks good on either side I have two pouches for the price of one. At less than £10, can't be bad. I like it.

Great product, couldn't be happier. The fact that it doesn't have a zip makes it a great companion for a MacBook Air (as the MBA itself is thinner than a zip).Finish is ok and it looks like it's going to last for the life of MBA.Go ahead and buy it!
