terribly swollen ankles
I have a short leg from ankle to knee, terribly swollen ankles, and the need to wear a support type stocking each day. Always believed I would never find knee highs that were comfortable as well as looking nice....until I bought the PEDS women's diabetic mild compression support knee high.. Absolutely wonderful. Comfortable and they don't bind, creating that horrible indention I find with my other stockings. Even m;y doctor was impressed with them. And they look just like regular hose, so I now always feel stylish/ Thanks for helping an 81 year old feel like she looks "young" again.

Very mild support
I paid a low price for these hose. Definitely got my money's worth. They are not the same quality as the Ames Walker support hose I use most days. These PEDS hose are good enough for short-term wear. I'd say they are much superior to the typical discount store's sheer knee-high hose because these do offer a little support. They fall on the scale as better than no support but not as strong and sturdy as those rated 8-15 mm/Hg. They have a nice appearance and don't look like support hose.

Three different styles women's support knee hi's compared
I bought these along with another style from Peds and a pair from gold toe. As of today I've worn all three. This stocking (sheer) (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0170EMOMA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) is a nice looking stocking and has good support. However, by the middle of the morning they had rolled down to the upper calf. I pulled them up twice during the day and when I got home at five they were down around the middle of the calf and were cutting in too much for me to attemp wearing them all day again. These hose were kind of short - the toe was short and they came up to middle of the knee. They were a size 10-13 (same as the one below) but they run small. The other pair of Peds (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00785T8EY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) were longer, over the knee. These were a 10-13 and did not roll down or cut into my leg. However, the foot was too long for me and had to be careful to avoid bunching when I put on my shoes. The level of support was good and these were the heaviest weight of the three. The third pair were Gold Toe (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LX7K7UC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I ordered these because my brother buys the men's support hose and loves them. I too like these the best. I've had them on a half day and no roll down. The foot fits nicely and of the three these seem to have the most support. I think this because they were harder to get on than the others - almost as hard as the surgical stockings I've worn before. The size I bought was large and I've order another pair.

SIZING NOT TRUE according to their chart
The sizing chart states use shoe size, I wear a 7.5, so I should purchase the Med 7-10. Way too short. I should have ordered the LARGE 10-13. I have to constantly pull on the toe area to relieve the pressure on the toes. The compression is great, the color is good, the sizing is AWLFUL. I am going to try to exchange or reorder in the LARGE. My calf length from heel to bend of knee is 15" . to relieve the pressure on my toes I can only pull up mid-calf. I wore Med-Peds years ago, purchased from WalMart, they were wonderful. What happened to your quality control in sizing?

Good mild compression, but color is wrong & heel area is out of place.
These hose have a nice wide band at the top that stays up. I wear a size 8 shoe & ordered the large size. They are fairly thick with good mild compression which is what I desired. There are some problems however. The color is more what I would call suntan rather than beige. Also the reinforced area for the heel is in the wrong place. It comes to the mid bottom of my foot under my arch rather than the heel. I could not stretch them enough to get the heel reinforcement in the right place. They are still wearable, but I won't order another pair.

Wouldn't Stay Up
Purchased 1 pair to try and I'm really glad I only got the one. They have no toe or heel space woven in. They are constructed like a tube sock from the '70's. I could have lived with that I think, but they don't stay up. I purchased the 10-13 size and they had plenty of stretch and mild compression comfort...except for the toe/heel thing...but that comfortable wide band just doesn't stay put. And it's not for a lack of fit. I wear a size 11 shoe, have a 17" calf and a 32" inseam. My leg was comfortable with no binding or pinching behind the knee and my leg and could have been longer and it still would have fit comfortably. As soon as I started to walk though, down it slid. I did like the sheer color and fabric weight and as much as I wanted this product to work I'm afraid I'm stuck with medical weight hosiery.

Fit nicely, but difficult to wear with capris because the top shows, somewhat. Having said that, the band is much more comfortable than others I've worn. When I bought them 4 and a half months ago, they were $4.56 a pair. Now just a short time later, they are twice the price! Being a mild compression, I don't feel they are worth $9.

Disappointed in the fit again, tho' the quality is there
Actually, these are quite nice as far as quality, but as soon as I put them on, the top rolls down, as has happened with at least 4 other brands laying in my drawer unused. I'll send these back. I thot from the picture that the top might be OK, and it really is nice and wide, unlike others I have tried. If the stockings were shorter, I think the top would fit, but I had to order the large size 'cause of my shoe size. If I don't pull them up very far, the top probably would stay without rolling, but then they bunch in other places on my leg, which isn't good. Once upon a time, one could get custom-made stockings, but I can't seem to find those either. Funny, tho', men's compression stockings work fine--but they are black only.....ah, well....
