I have been patient and held on for two months and this definitely doesn't work. If it's within the guarantee period I am returning it.

Seems to work!!!
Well, it might be coincidence, but we have only heard the little blighters once, a few days after installing the device. My wife was derisive of my purchase, but when I threatened this week to remove it, she forbid me to do so. So having been squirrel free for a couple of months, we are fervently hoping that this is the real deal.
