GET THIS!!! IT'S AWESOME AND CAN SHOOT DOWN RUSSIAN MISSILES IF NEEDED.
So, this light is AWESOME. I got it because I needed some light in rural Pennsylvania, and this seemed to fit the bill. When I fired it up, holy cow! This thing isn't just a flashlight. It's a gawdang LASER. (I'm reasonably certain it's surplus from the old Strategic Defense Initiative satellites that used to blast Russian Missiles.) It's got two settings; TURBO BLAST powerful, and simply powerful. Each setting has a different distance, but both are really clear, focused beams. It's also got a USB port to charge cell phones. It'll easily illuminate a hillside a half mile away, and probably further.Personal anecdote: Through the Nor'Easter that just pummeled PA, this thing kept my house lit and my cell charged, and proved invaluable when the power went out (Thanks a lot, PECO!)If you're thinking about getting it, DO IT! This is a ton of flashlight for very little money.

It looks like you are firing up the Bat Signal when you ...
I have a 1000 lumen flashlight and was wondering how this would compare. It blows it out of the water. This thing is bright. It looks like you are firing up the Bat Signal when you shine it up in the air. It has a very concentrated light point. It also was much smaller than the pictures had me believe. It came charged out of the box and I was using it to spotlight wild life near my stock tank last night. Very good light and good price.

A Very Strange Flashlight Design
I'm a nut about flashlights. I bet I own twenty of them, in all shapes and sizes. They use different bulbs, batteries, and some even have adjustable lenses and programmable modes. My most expensive flashlight was over $200 and my least expensive flashlight was a few bucks.I bought this "BUYSIGHT Bright Rechargeable Searchlight handheld LED Flashlight Tactical Flashlight" thinking it would be my brightest flashlight because of the advertised lumens. It looked like a good lamp to keep in the trunk of the car. However, I was surprised by the size. It's smaller than I thought it'd be-- which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's more portable than I thought it'd be.But it also feels incredibly cheap. I don't know how to describe it other than "dollar-store plastic." It just feels like it'd break or crack if dropped. Very, very cheap polymer used here. I remember a Duracell flashlight that I had in the 1980s that was more durable than this. And here we are in 2019.The whole flashlight also feels very light. Again, at first glance, that probably doesn't sound like a bad thing. Easier to carry around, right? But it's almost as if there's a lot of air and wasted space in the housing. It doesn't have heft or feel dense, if that makes sense. So even though I mentioned that it's smaller than I expected, I don't understand why it's as large as it is given all the wasted spaced you can feel in the body of the flashlight. It's almost as if they made the flashlight bigger than it needed to be-- on purpose-- in order to make people perceive that it's more powerful. There is only one actual LED projecting light so keep in mind that the front lense doesn't need to be nearly as big as it is-- in order to house a bulb that's maybe 1-2mm in height and width.Lastly, the beam this casts is non-adjustable and has a very bright center with only a moderate wider beam. I don't think the lumens are actually as advertised. Maybe if you're just looking at the peak of the center. But my various tactical flashlights cast a more useful beam.I'd recommend the Anker USB rechargeable flashlight over this one. I just picked up two the other day (one for me and one for my assistant) and they are the same price as this lamp, but much smaller, more durable (metal housing), and just as bright (if not brighter). If you really want to go pro, get a rechargeable Streamlight.

Go For It! A Good Product
Well made light - Some people said otherwise. I personally think the phenomenally light weight misleads people to think it's not a quality product. This light is a quantum leap forward over the old Ni-Cad incandescent bulb light with a weight of maybe 3 lbs. that I previously used. Biggest difference is the long battery life measured in hours as opposed to minutes for older lights. Some tips: Remove the goofy little foam ring from the push button switch. It is only used for shipping protection. You will need a magnifier and a translator if you plan on reading the tiny little manual.Lastly, on devices like this -- when charging: The charger will cool down to room temp. when the light is fully charged.Footnote: After trying out the light, I immediately ordered another one. And I DO NOT write 5 star fluff reviews.

Solid quality, compact, versatile, and portable searchlight
I'm very pleased with this searchlight. The quality of the light is pretty solid. The performance of this flashlight is absolutely amazing - it's even brighter than most car headlights! You can actually see the light beam, exactly like what is shown in the ad picture. I am very comfortable with its weight: The light is compact, versatile, and portable. It recharges in a reasonable period of time and lasts for such a long time. I would certainly recommend this searchlight to my friends without any hesitation.

My wife uses it mostly to take her dog out at night. Holds a charge for a long time and makes a really bright light to spot anything in the woods at night.

Not rugged enough for what they claim
I bought it on 1/18. finally started using it this month for fishing, I dropped it on the floor of a fiberglass boat from about 3 ft. the handle/switch assembly broke off. Very fragile for what is described as an outdoor unit for use as in the product description:-Suitable for home maintenance and outdoor activities, like camping, fishing, hiking, night fishing, sailing, caving and hunting etc.All these activities suggest a ruggedized item, not so, now useless.PL

Bright Rechargeable Searchlight
This flashlight is not to bad at all. It is bright and USB charging is nice to have, although it takes a bit of time to charge. Worth the investment for sure.
