Strong smell and lovely design

Have to just say wanted a candle that looked nice and keep the bugs away and after testing the candles out did the job ! Looked good and nobody was bitten …. Even better two candles for a good price and quite big .

Previously I put 5* but clearly done it too early without testing the candles properly...The candles burns way too quick. Both candles burned in one evening!!One candle pot split in the half when candle was burning!The smell is OK but thats the only good thing about these candles...

This pair of citronella candles arrived in a smart cardboard box, nestled in plastic which kept them protected from any damage.The candles are contained within 2 metal pots, which look really good and makes them ideal for outside use. Each has 3 wicks and are a really impressive size. The candles smell amazing, bursting with lemon, and are large enough to easily last the summer whilst repelling some of those insect shaped pests.At £8.99 for the pair, at time of review, I think they're incredible value for money.

This pack of 2 Citronella outdoor candles come boxed and well packaged and are 10.5cm high x 11.5cm at the widest point inside a metal bucket look outer with the yellow colour wax inside and 3 wicks for burning which seem to burn evenly around the candle.These have the classic citronella smell but not overpowering at all and quite nice when burning and you get the smell of it, hopefully these will help on the summer nights and stop bugs being a nuisance. These claim to have 100 hours burning time which I can't confirm at the moment but they do seem to be quite slow burning and I think these will last quite well. These are currently on sale for £13.99 which is ok but on the more higher side of what I would pay but seem to be good quality with good scent to them.

This pair of citronella candles are great additions to my garden seating area. They are attractive, a very nice size, and the citronella smell is pleasant but not overwhelming. There is also the advantage that they keep nighttime bugs at arm's length. Each candle has three wicks, and I have both on my outdoor coffee table where they give off a decent amount of light - enough to illuminate the table and provide a nice warm glow.These candles are a great buy, and good value for money for a pack of two.

These are good value and quality Citronella candles which come nicely boxed.The two candles are held in metal buckets, which seems to be the standard presentation. These will get very hot while in use and should be sat on something heat-resistant that will not burn or mark.They are long-lasting. It is worth noting that the product description page states they should not burn for over 2 hours, which is strange given that the instruction for the first use is to keep them alight for 2-3 hours so that the top layer fully melts, which is sound advice.Tunnelling can be a problem with candles. The fact that these have three wicks each is a prominent plus feature, as it helps get an even burn. As usual, these wicks need to be snipped to a shorter length before lighting; I have never worked out why they can’t arrive trimmed!They produce a pleasant, citrusy fragrance that also works as a bug repellent by masking the scent of humans and food.

Really beautiful citronella candles, apart from looking absolutely lovely for out doors they are extremely effective at keeping bugs away. The citronella smell is fresh and lovely and the burn on the candles is everything as described in the advert. Well worth buying.
