With all the scorching hot weather we've been having recently I was getting very worried about the inside of my car taking a constant beating from the sun. My car has leather seats and dashboard and too much exposure of harsh sun rays together with the build up of heat in the car is going to reduce the life of the leather and bring on potential premature cracking. So after trialling a few different types of sun shades, including the consateener foil type foldable ones, I finally discovered these sunshades. The idea is basically to have sunshades that completely cover the windscreen without letting any light in that are quick and easy to fit, made from material / parts that are soft and gentle on your cars interior trim together with being just as quick and easy to take back down again as well as being compact when put away. Well these shades are the ones to get. When I fitted them into my car it was a bit fiddly at first but eventually I discovered how to make them fit perfectly so it completely covers the windscreen. There is an over lap of course as these accommodate to fit different sized windscreens. Any how because I got them to fit so perfectly in the front I thought I'd try them in the rear window too. I can get them to fit there perfectly also - see pictures ive attached. So I bought another pair to protect both front and back windscreens. I also use the window sock type shades to fit on the sides for each car door to give total protection.Now the possible negative points. With constant putting in and taking out of the windscreens and folding them back into their little bags they come in its possible the material they are made of, which reminds me of a thin anorak water proof type fabric, I'm not sure whether the stitching (that holds in the flexible metal hoop) will hold for too much longer. I'll keep my eye on it and update my review if necessary. Another point is that it doesn't keep the inside of the car cool. It still heats up a fair bit eventhough it does completely block out the sun. Another point (depending if you can or cannot master it) is folding them back up correctly to fit in the bag they come in - it can be quite difficult. This will take some practice. Look on YouTube on how to fold car sunshades. There's plenty of tutorial videos people have put on there to show you how its done. Which is how I learnt How To do it.So all in all for £10 a pair they are very good and fit the car windscreens front and back perfectly, after finding the best way to make it work for your car (in my case a Jaguar XF). Product seems very cheap and flimsy. If you also like stand around trying fold it back after use then this is product for you. Like trying figure out a Rubiks Cube.

Great product - fun trying to get it back in the little holder - still not mastered it yet every time ! Seems to be ok, but still hot in the car in this extreme weather we are having, so difficult to see if it makes a great difference.
