Good Looking Hair Spray (Dark Brown)

The dark brown was actually dark brown, unlike other products that are either lighter or darker than their color name.PROS: Is fab at covering gray. It's a pretty large can with lots of product in it, unlike other products I've found that are used up after only a few good uses. It's reasonably priced, way better than brands offering smaller cans with way less product.CONS: The color DOES come off on hands, pillow cases, etc. I tried using hair spray on my hair over the product to remedy this, but it didn't work that well.All in all, it's the best I've found so far for coloring over gray hair between color treatments in terms of price, actual color matching the color name--at least for dark brown, and ease of application. You do have to be careful to spray where you want it, which can take a bit of practice. It's easy to get on your ears and other areas of skin that are closest to the gray, but it comes off with a wet towel and minimal elbow grease.

my hair has always been fine and wispy. now that I am older, I think its thinning a bit too. Any way, I needed something to make my hair look a bit fuller. This works very well for me. You have to learn to use it, but once you get the hang of it, it'll bring your confidence back. The only downside is that if you apply it before your hair is dry it can run. Also, it'll get on your fingers as you apply it and run your fingers through your hair. No big deal. Just wash your hands after use. Once its dry and you add some hair spray, you shouldn't have to worry about it. It can make your hair feel less than soft and your woman may notice that your hair feels a little different, but that's a small price to pay for a fuller looking head of hair. I use it on my frontal hairline. No one has noticed so far. And it looks very natural. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I've tried everything, and GLH seems better than competitors in terms of how it looks (more realistic), and ease of application ("cleaner" than others, less messy of a bathroom to cleanup).

The medium Brown seems a little light to me. I am going for the dark brown next, but even though medium brown is a little light I can still use it just fine.I wash my hair, dry with hair dryer, apply GLH to my thinned area and spray with aquanet. Then after about 10 minutes or so I ruffle the area and respray if necessary after styling.I haven't cut my hair short in the back for almost 5 years now since I thinned out, just did today and the results are awesome.It worked great when my hair was longer as well.Haven't tested it in the rain yet but in a light mist it holds up just fine.I will order again but not from amazon due to the cost factor. I am getting it for $21 with tax and shipping on another sight.

I will admit ine ting about this product ..it does cover well but I could probably get equal coverage taking a can of spray paint and pointing it at my scalp. In all seriousness though, the product isn't terrible. The many issues I have is as follows.1. I is supposed to really remove with shampoo. This is not true . It may take up to three washings to get it completely out.2. After getting it all out, you have to use a ton of conditioner, because it leaves the cleansed hair in such a stiff, unmanageable state3. I use it on wet hair and then dry my hair. Doing so makes my hair feel like I have sprayed about 4 bottles of hair spray on it. I literally can NOT get a comb through it for final styling lest risk ripping hair out of my head3. Forget about trying to spray near the front of your hairline. the spray cap spurts all over the play leaving a mess all over the sink as well as little spots of GLH all over your forehead. I have to use my wife's close-up mirror to do damage control.I used this product because another product I have been using for years had a serious production setback and I was desperate. Next time I'll wear a hat until production is back in full swing

Great for hiding my bald spot at the crown. A bit of brown mist during application process seems to settle all over the bathroom. I recommend spraying your head either outside, or while standing on a drop cloth...

While this product does a good job at filling in see-through areas, it smells like paint, and makes your hair very stiff afterwards. Also, the mess it makes is pretty bad, and any time you try to run your hands through, or simply touch your hair, product comes off. I think in the future, I’ll probably opt for other solutions.

I PURCHAED THIS PRODUCT A FEW WEEKS AGO AND I LOVE IT!! IT STAYS IN YOUR HAIR ALL DAY. IT IS A LITTLE MESSY WHEN YOU FIRST USE IT, HOWEVER, AFTER A FEW TIMES, I DID GET THE HANG OF IT. YOU WILL NEED TO PUT A TOWEL OR SOMETHING OVER YOUR CLOTHING BEFORE USING IT. THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME, HAY IF ITS GOING TO WORK, I WILL DO JUST THAT!! I ALWAYS HAD THICK HAIR BUT DUE TO AN ILLNESS, MY HAIR HAS BECOME VERY THIN ON TOP. I HAD NO IDEA HOW THIS PRODUCT WORK BUT I AM VERY GLAD I TRIED IT. THANK YOU!
