For anyone who has any interest in Egyptology and King Tut in particular, this book is a must! It defines the term "coffee table" books- beautifully done with gorgeous images from Tut's tomb..one of those books you will look at over and over again!

I recently returned from my third trip to Egypt and almost purchased this book from the Alexandria library bookshop. Glad I waited until I returned home. It was priced so much better on Amazon and I did not have to carry this very large and heavy book home! A gorgeous volume documenting the fantastic Tutenkhamun treasures. Whether you are able to see these treasures in person, or only in books, this book is simply perfect for any lover of things Egyptian

This book exceeded my expectations in every way. What I was most surprised about was how well it was bound and the amount of detail that the author went into describing the art and jewelry. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a top notch book on Egyptian history.

There is explanatory in this book, but the read pleasure are the hundreds of full-color images of the treasures of king Tut. From his sarcophagus to his folding chair to the jars holding his viscera, this book brings the boy king in his glory. Also some images of the archaeologist who unearthed Tut. Highly recommended!

I am really that glad I bought this book. I wanted it as soon as I saw the cover. The photos are beautiful and the book is packed with tons of information that an, admittedly amateur, enthusiast like myself found fascinating and educational.

One of the best books I have ever purchased. A lifetime of education and spectacular color pictures. Our 6 year old granddaughter in love with it. She is addicted to king TUT

Did not notice the details on the overall size ( 8.5" x 6.5" ) of the book .I thought it was going to be a full size table book with Large photosI would return it , but price & content are good .

Best book I bought in years. Pictures are literally stunning in clarity and quality. A must have for anyone into ancient Egypt and Tutankhamun. Narrative and details are also really good.
