Smartwares IDE-60011 Circular Concrete Pendant Light, Industrial Design, E27, 60 W

After fitting a few months ago, I came into the room to find over night it had just split into two. Fell from a height of approx. 1m and hit the top of my computer screen throwing one half to the floor and the other to hit my rather expensive and period leather desk top causing damage. I will be in touch soon to the seller regarding this product and its safety standards during the manufacturing process. I am having to get a professional leather cleaner and restorer in to work on the desk and even then it will never be the same again. Very poor product and not manufactured very well at all.

I ordered this lamp through Amazon last year, it was in use for several months and one day it literally divided itself in 2 pieces and fell on the ground, luckily no one was hurt. We also have the other concrete pendant lamp from the same seller and it has worked fine so far.I have contacted the Smartwares directly, their reply was:"With this item, the replacement will need to be requested from the seller. We don't process replacements for these items directly."I would appreciate the advice on the replacement procedure!
