This one works!
2023 Camry with JBL head unit.Tried 4 different brands — one was abysmal, one sort of worked (choppy video and dropped frames) and another simply quit working.This one just works. Took a moment for Bluetooth to initially connect and takes a bit longer to boot (maybe 15-20 seconds longer than the fastest).Connecting for video through hotspot on iPhone 15 max but video is good on lte to 5g assuming you have a descent signal and your plan has at least 5mb of speed on tether.Realize this work around isn’t perfect. It is a work around but it works very well for what it is.

Cool but not sustainable to use in car.
This is a really cool little device …. To say the least it does what it’s advertised to do… it has android built in so you can use the google play store and download whatever app you want. With that being said, you can’t put all apps on this device because the performance is below sub par. It is excruciatingly slow to the point where you are just waiting and waiting for things to update, log in, install or simply just load. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto works as advertised…. There is some lag on the touchscreen and a small delay in the sync of the audio and video but it’s barely noticeable… I just think for this price the performance needed to be more up to date to the times. I don’t really enjoy using technology from 2011 in 2024…. With all this being said, I’m sure this device is will work fine for those who are ok with waiting but the speed of this device is why I had to return it. This device also gets incredibly hot which was also a great concern for me and inevitably led to the return as well… I hope this review helps you in making the right decision

Exactly what I’ve been looking for!!
Bought this for my husband to use in his work car. This product actually works. I can connect wirelessly, which is super convenient, which would definitely recommend to anyone as long as it's compatible, and in most cases, it's definitely a game changer!

Hard to connect. Very slow
First start and connect this Wireless Carplay & Andoid Auto Box takes forever. Finally after 20 minutes I connect it to my Samsung. My kids love to watch cartoons on YouTube but it very slow and glitchy. Disappointed. Would not recommend it

Fast connection, smooth streaming
The 5G transmission technology in this carplay box makes for a quick and seamless connection. The streaming quality is top-notch and I love being able to control everything from the steering wheel.

Do not buy it does not work
This product does not work. It only connected 4 times if that and I can’t get it to connect again!!! I started the process for the return!
