KalaMakala WATERMAN MK-SWG/BL Soprano Ukulele, Aqua Blue Glow in the Dark

Love this uke! I have several really expensive ukuleles. But this one is fast becoming my go to uke. Very little sustain but has a really wonderful sound for playing certain types of music, especially funk!Yeah, you may have a solid wood AAAAA quality instrument, which sounds spectacular but I have one that glows in the dark!Love it and thouroughly recommed it.

I did my research on Kalas and Watermans - the consensus was Watermans were usually of standard to low quality (compared to actual wooden ukes), and they tend to have buzzing issues. I bought it anyway because I could use a sturdy uke, and for a Kala, this was a steal. I am very satisfied with it! The strings were stretched in a couple of days, and the sound is amazing for a plastic uke.The decals are kind of smudgy (as pictured), but I'm not too bothered by it. It glows pretty faintly in the dark, and the neck doesn't so that kind of defeats the purpose of playing in the dark - but that's fine with me because I didn't buy this for the gimmick. The drawstring bag that came with it is super neat - much preferred over the typical ukulele-shaped bag as it's easy to pull out and stuff in.Tl;dr 10/10 I love it.

Excellent value for money. Sounds lovely for the money and my son loves it.
