Works great with Tempest weather station!
I was looking for a J bracket for my Tempest weather station. It was hard to find one that had a width of 1.25 as directed by Tempest. Came across this one and it works great.

We used this to mount or weather station on top of our swing set.

6 inches needed for the base
The base of this mount has the bolt holes 6 inches apart. This made mounting it on my 4 inch wide soffit not possible. Otherwise, working well to support my ham antenna.

Fast and Easy Mount
This is one of the easiest mast poles to install, especially in a limited space attic, comes with easy instructions but was not really needed, 2 small carriage bolts, 1 larger bolt, all using the same nuts, mounting lag bolts needed pilot holes but drove easily with 1/2 inch socket on drill, picture quality is excellent with set up [mounting, hook up, etc.] In less than 30 minutes. Would recommend and buy this pole again.

Smaller than it looks, nowhere near the size of a regular satellite mount -- but made it work
Picked this up for mounting a weather station at a remote cabin I only visit about once a year. I really wanted a regular satellite dish mount -- this isn't as sturdy, and it isn't as big, meaning the 'mast' isn't as long as the bracket isn't as large, as I wanted. But I made it work -- the only issue is the sensors are really too close to the roof, so it may be getting reflected heat in the summer, and it may get snowed over in the winter. Guess we'll see!
