GenericAnew Ultimate Day & Night Cream Set, Ideal for Ages 40-65, Set of 2

I was admittedly confused by this listing as it indicates the manufacturer is Generic, but the products received appear in every aspect to be genuinely branded Anew creams by Avon. So with the disclaimer that I can't be sure whether these are the real deal, I can only review the actual products as received. To start, I am definitely in the target demographics for this day and night cream duo. Both formulas are rich in texture, good for those with mature skin looking for deep hydration. Since I have combination skin, I found the day cream a bit too heavy for my oily T-zone. But it is just what I need for my cheeks and neck area, which tend to be dry to the point of scaly. The cream absorbs well and keeps my dry zones hydrated all day while also providing light sun protection (SPF 20). The night cream, however, I can use all over. I don't mind the heavier moisturizer to keep my skin nourished overnight, and when I wake in the morning, my face feels soft and supple. Overall, I would recommend this set for those with dry skin, as both creams do a great job of sealing in moisture.

I remember the days you had to call the Avon lady to get their products, but it seems you can now order on Amazon as well. The packaging and quality all seem legit. Both night and day creams are thick and leave skin soft and smooth. They are a bit thick compared to what I like to use in hot weather though, so I'll set them aside for regular use in Fall and Winter and stick with lighter serums for now. I tried both on the back of my hands and the day cream on my face and had no reactions or issues. They are both very lightly scented. It's kind of a grandma scent but isn't strong so I don't mind.
