Really nice! Certainly compact so it's perfect for small spaces. Does a good job of draining the water off so the soap doesn't get stuck. Nice materials, looks modern and clean, simple to use. I opted for one without metal, as I feel like everything metal in the bathroom just rusts eventually.

My quest for the perfect soap dish is over!! These are smart and modern looking. Whilst small, a regular bar of soap can be placed easily lengthways and of course soap shrinks very quickly. The back has a slit so water can be drained out quickly every so often and due to being compact its quick to clean these soap dishes or soap cradle which seems like a better description.

Great soap dish, which is nearly ideal .. but not quite. The price is outstanding for a designer compact soap dish. I am a fan of Joseph Joseph products, being both well designed and well made. I was impressed that it has 2 rubber runners on the bottom of the item. The manufacturer could have easily omitted this as a cost-cutting exercise. The dish holds a 100g soap bar well in any orientation. Soap drain well from the design, evidenced by the stream of water when I empty its contents after a few days. Slight issues which prevent a 5-star review :- The lightness of the unit has one potential drawback - if the surface of the sink is wet and at a slight angle it does not have enough weight to prevent it from sliding into the sink. The drain hole does such a good job that the end of the bar that rests on the side dries up and requires a little force to price it off the plastic. Minor niggles in an otherwise great design. What can one expect for under a tenner anyway - the hanging gardens of Babylon :)

Effective at keeping the soap dry and has a small enough footprint to fit on the bathroom sink. It is amazing how much water drains from the soap, emptied regularly through the drain slot. The dish comes apart into two pieces making it easy to clean. Well designed indeed.

I have tried a few soap dishes but they were always under par leaving me with soggy soap or they look a mess. This dish has resolved those problems. It is very small (smaller than i expected) and I was initially worried it could not fit a bar of soap in it. However I resolved this by cutting my bar of soap into 3rds or halves depending on the size of soap. I only have small hands and I have young children who also have small hands. So having a small bar of soap to handle is easier all round and to rub in our hands to get a good lather. The dish has the clever angled drainer so all the wetness drains into the bottom of the dish (away from the soap) and keeps the soap dry and firm. As we are washing our hands so much due to covid I do need to regularly tip it up to empty the bottom but that inconveniences me all of 2 seconds - I do it once a day as I wash my hands. I love the soap dish and have bought 2 more !!

This could be a bit bigger, really. But it does help to keep a bar of soap dry. Handy air vent helps. Maybe if a typical bar of soap is cut in half it would be the right size. |By the way, remember to empty any accumulated water from the vent once in a while. Very easy to clean this dish, too. However, it may be that it is deliberately designed to be a bit small so that the full bar will hang a bit over the side. Considering the usually brilliant Joseph Joseph designs, this may well be the case. One day I will experiment with a cut down bar of soap. Have bought 2 of these so far, at any rate, and can highly recommend it.

I bought two of these. The first one is for a kitchen. I liked this a lot, so I bought the second one for a washroom. Sometimes, a soap sticks to the soap dish, but it is easy to take it out. There is a hole in the backside, so it is easy to drain water from it. It's easy to clean as well.

Love this soap dish holds a full bar of soap and takes up very little room in the shower
