My first test was with my air purifier on full blast, definitely quieter from outside of my bedroom.I have now ordered them again in white to put on the OUTSIDE of my door with hopes it will reduce what I hear from downstairs as that's still farrr too loud.

I do my own recording and wanted to try something that would dampen the acoustics and make it more. neutral, as well as hopefully, offering some sound proofing for and from my next door neighbour and his surround sound system. They have been reasonably effective.Installation is easy in theory as the tiles have their own adhesive backing, so no pasting/gluing is involved. I stuck them to a painted brick and plaster wall and they have held well so far, though I found the adhesion on some tiles to be less than others.I can certainly notice the different in sound absorption when I am creating and the overall effect is less bounce and a flatter sound.In terms of sound proofing from my neighbour, I am still trying to judge whether this has been effective. I think there is some improvement and reduction in sound at my end, but I am still hearing him. It is mainly the very low bass frequencies, which I think could actually be travelling through the fabric of the building as a vibration, in which case, nothing much of likely to change that.So overall I am quite pleased with these tiles and may invest in some more at a later date. They certainly stop echo and sound bouncing around a room off hard walls. Hope this helps.

I've installed these in my DIY garden office/gym which is already insulated with 25mm of Rockwool and 70mm of Celotex. While I'm already happy with the Rockwool, you can never have enough soundproofing, so I thought I'd test these out. I also wanted something to cover up the ugly OSB boards.First and foremost, these panels look great once installed. They are easy to fit and cut to size. They have added a small amount of extra soundproofing, but nothing major. I wouldn't be using these as a standalone solution, but when mixed with other soundproofing materials, these work okay. They have also greatly reduced room echoes.Recommended!

We have a few places where these have been used, both at work and home. They've very easy to use and apply and do exactly what I hoped they would, absorbing sound and minimising sound reflection from hard surfaces. It's not exactly cheap but then it is a specialist item.

I was a little dubious about the 'Topnaca 18 Pack Sound Proofing Panels, 30x30x0.9cm Self Adhesive Soundproofing Panels' because at £49.99 - they aren't cheap. However, I have temporarily mounted them in my sons room and they are extremely effective.First - why temporary? I made my son and daughter swap rooms - he plays Xbox in his room and nothing and she is a girl - need I say more? So - his room needs decorating.When my son plays on his xbox he is extremely loud and fairly obnoxious when talking with his mates (bants).Though we have solid walls, we can sometimes hear his shouts reverberate through the house.For the testing and temporary installing I made a grid of thin batons and used some gaffer tape to attach them to the grid. I then placed in my sons room directly behind his screen that he uses for Xbox and across the wall. The coverage is actually quite impressive.The effect it had was noticeable straight away, and though he can still be heard on occasion it is nowhere near the same volume as before.Though these panels are not cheap they are very well made of medium weight dense material which stop reflected sound very effectively.They work for my purpose and if anyone else has a noisy gamer for aa child then I thoroughly recommend them. I have not cut them into any fancy shapes yet and will probably leave them whole.

I have the tiny bedroom in my house set up as my "music studio" and any time I record vocals in there I go through the rigmarole or placing various pillows, duvets, and towels around the room to reduce sound reflection.These acoustic tiles are very simple to use, in that you can either leave them as squares and stick the whole thing to your wall, or use a craft knife to slice them into the composite triangles and dot them around. You just simply peel off the backing and pus them onto the wall. My walls are painted plaster so they stuck on very easily. I'm not too keen to pull one off again to see what happens. I'm guessing I'll either tip the tile or pull off the paint. Something I'm only willing to try when it comes time to redecorate. However, the sound reflections are noticeably reduced. Just place them around so you don't have two hard reflective surfaces facing each other.

L'atténuation n'est pas non plus celle qui va faire que vous n'entendez plus rien du tout mais par contre face à l'écho dans la pièce ou ils ont été installés, il y a une nette différence. Cela permet aussi d'étouffer les bruits même si on les entends toujours encore à l'extérieur de la pièce, mais nettement moins fort.L'autocollant est très costaud et il s'est parfaitement adapté malgré tout sur de la peinture brillante. A voir après l'été, souvent on peut avoir des problèmes mais je viendrais modifier le cas échéant.J'ai beaucoup apprécié le fait de pouvoir les découper et faire des formes comme je l'entends, ça permet d'être créatif en plus, avec un simple cutter c'est vraiment facile à découper. Je vous conseille de bien prendre une planche qui ne sert qu'à ça en dessous parce que le parquet n'aimera pas trop le traitement haha.Un rapport qualité/prix très intéressant, même si il y a mieux dans ce monde, mais pour mon utilisation ça ira plutôt bien. Je recommande :)
