ASEVAT Store: Narrow Mouth Plastic Bottles (Qty: 2), Polypropylene?, 1L (33.8oz.), Silicone Cap Seal This product is a pair of translucent one-liter (33.8oz.) polymer bottles with a narrow mouth and a volume scale printed on the side of the bottle to estimate the contained volume. The bottles have a thick construction and are quite solid. The polymer used is translucent and the volume scale printed on the side of the bottle is printed in black for easy identification of the volume contained. The bottles are very smooth and no mold part lines were observed. The bottle cap has a ribbed rim for a good grip when opening or closing the bottle cap. The bottle cap has a silicone rubber cap seal placed inside the cap to prevent leaks. The product’s Amazon page indicates that the height of the bottle is 8.68” and the diameter is 3.6”. The product’s Amazon page contains much conflicting information about the polymer used to mold these bottles. I several places the Amazon page states that the bottles are made of High-Density Polyethylene and in several other places it is stated that the bottles are made of Polypropylene. While these polymers are similar, they are not the same and cannot be used interchangeably. How do I know? My undergraduate degree in Chemistry tells me so. I strongly urge the keeper of the product’s Amazon page to research this issue and resolve these conflicts. If a purchaser were to be injured because the polymer used to make the product was misidentified the lawyers would absolutely love this in our litigious society. I purchased these containers to store small quantities of mixtures of gasoline and 2-cycle engine oil. I have 2-cycle engine powered equipment that uses different ratios of gasoline to oil and the mixtures are not interchangeable. It is for this reason that I would really prefer that these containers are made of polypropylene. Time and gasoline will render the final decision. I really like the quality of these containers and I sincerely hope that they will hold up over time.

Performed perfectly in my overseas travel pouch filled with liquid skincare product. No leaks. It's a nice size -- small enough to not bring unnecessary weight, large enough to fit sufficient product for a couple weeks (for my needs). I'm going to use one of the extra bottles to share some house plant liquid fertilizer with a friend, and I know I don't have to worry that it will leak on the way.

Good for alcohol samples. Spill proof. A bit expensive.

I use these to store soaps for washing boats and cars, they are awesome. They have not leaked a drop yet and the plastic is durable enough that in case they fall off a boat onto the concrete they wont burst open. The screw on lid seals very tight and feels like a good quality product, I will be buying more of these now since they are made surprisingly well.

These bottles are heavy gauge. Cap fits snugly with no leaks (using for motor oil in my trunk) Markings are very legible and appear durable. Markings are every 10 ml, with numerals every 50.

These are thick-walled and milky/opaque. They are translucent enough that you can see the level of the liquid inside. The caps screw on securely. The mouth is well molded. They sit flat and level on the countertop. No surprises here. Good quality, durable containers as advertised.

I needed a heavy wall storage bottle to replace a leaking pesticide bottle which had started breaking down and cracking. These were the perfect size, and appear to be good quality.

If I could squeeze these bottles, I'd give them five stars. Unfortunately, they're made of a very hard, rigid plastic material, so they're really only useful for low-viscosity substances like shampoo, body wash, and hair gel with a thin consistency. I had to order squeezable tubes for my conditioner and curl cream. Their size is great, though. Nice and compact, and a stack of two of them still leaves plenty of room at the top of my toiletry case. Thus far, I haven't had any leakage issues, but I've only used them once. I will add that the labels that come with them are kinda useless because they're hard to write on. So they're just one more thing to add to the trash.
