Exceeded expectations in terms of absorbency and value.
My mom is in her 80's, in good health, and incontinent. I was buying her the most heavy duty Depends, but they always ended up leaking at night and she would wake up with wet pajamas in a wet bed. Not fun. I tried these because I was hoping that there would be something out there that would offer better night-time absorbency, enabling her to sleep without leaking all over the bed. It's uncomfortable for my mom and requires a lot more laundry. The first thing I noticed is that the thickness of the padding itself is slightly greater than the Depends. The padding felt just as dense but about 1/5 inch more thick. The second thing I noticed is that because the underwear is unisex, the pad came up pretty high in the front and back. The good part about that is that 1) you can't put them on backwards, which is a plus for a senior, and 2) there is that much more absorbency to soak up the pee in both directions. So my mom tried them. Her initial commentary was that they "fit different" than the Depends for women. Not badly, just different, because of the padding extending higher on both front and back. So the verdict was out, she wasn't immediately thrilled. Now, a week later, I asked my mom how she likes the Solimos...and she LOVES LOVES LOVES them. She doesn't get emphatic about a lot, but this she did. Turns out they are so much more absorbent than the Depends. She doesn't wake up on a big wet spot in the mornings and uncomfortable. The fact that there is extra material on the front and back is also really helpful because it spreads out the moisture, so she doesn't feel soaked next to her skin. I give these an A+ and we now have a monthly subscription. Well done Amazon, these were needed on the market. Well thought out, well designed.

Well made, contains a full movement very well.
We bought these briefs for my son. He is just barely over five feet tall and weighs 135 lb. He has no bladder control at all on most days. We have been potty training for many years so far. I was very excited when we received these because we would not have the chance to leak out in the middle of the night. Because of his disability, alarms and such do not work for him, so we just have to be extremely cautious about keeping his bed covered and using overnight briefs or even doubling up (in the past). Honestly these have been great! They don't have any strange smells and we have not run into any quality control issues where the beads are leaking out (too many other brands to name unfortunately). These do not have very much sound while the person is moving/walking They also are not extremely stiff and are not very noticeable under clothing, unless fully. They do contain movements and have a absorbent pad going far enough back that there is no seeping or leakage. We will happily continue to buy these.

Clearly a good product and price
Having for years tried more expensive product that don't hold up to full bladder voids a couple of times a night, I tried Solimo and did a little experiment. I found that they will hold 2 cups of liquid and not leak. By slowing pouring water, one cup at a time, onto the center of the pull up, the absorption center managed to hold 2 cups. It was very much at its capacity, but I think pretty impressive. Having said that, you can get the same results with more expensive products, but I don't think better. 2 cups seems to be the max and from a little research a very full bladder holds 2 cups. Most folks won't ever need this kind of protection. I'm using them day and night on my loved one. During the day any product will do. At night we really have to beef things up with layers of protection and we still fail. Leakage from sleeping on their side comes into play as does heavy voiding a couple of times a night. All in all, I would highly recommend these by Solimo as the answer to incontinent problems. If you have to pay for them yourself, this is a great value. Again, other brands will do just as good, but for more money.

The best!
As caregivers we go through many brands looking for the best fit in everyway! love these! Better than anything I have tried. They might not be fancy but they work! Gel stays in these, unlike others, that is a huge factor not having them break up and get all over rug, etc.. my husband pees alot so I use the night time all day. He is 180 lbs and uses med. Price is excellent! Fit is wonderful. I don't use anything else! I should say, I won't use anything else!

Great Product. Irreplaceable.
Great overnight absorbency for elderly Mom. Soft and comfortable. Was at a great price. I have not been able to find a good replacement since it has not been available. I had to do research and try other brands outside of Amazon. Using Overnight Prevails. Closest best I have found but not as good as Solimo's. I hope they become available again.

Not made for hiking with backpack
The underwear did well the first few times I tried walking to a market, taking a bus, a ride. It did well at containing bodily fluids and such while preventing stains on pants. Today was a different story. I had worn a pair for a couple hours yesterday and they only had minimal moisture. Today I was walking before 07:00 to maybe 15:00 with a light backpack on. Later in the afternoon I decided to go grocery shopping so I put on a heavier pack. Around 19:00 I felt wet particles running down my legs. When I got home the disposable under was coming apart. While my car is in the shop I walk and take buses and need the peaceful experience of not being neat a bathroom and containing leakages. I have a doctor's appointment in August to find about what I am assuming is incontenance. I expected the same reliability I had been experiencing with the other underwear.

My replacement for Depend daytime underwear
Even though these are marketed as unisex, the fit is pretty good---especially around the legs, which is important to stop leaks. It has the same construction as the much higher-priced Prevail disposable underwear, and even has an identical size mark on the back side. No problem pulling them down for toileting. The Solimo seems to have slightly thicker padding, and slightly tighter legs than the Prevail, but perhaps I am imagining this. In any event, the Solimo was the clear winner in a trial of four different overnight-grade products to replace the new daytime Defend product that holds much less and allows leakage at the leg holes.

Good Value for my ALZ Dementia Mother
I decided to try these to save money as I'm now caring full time for for my mother with dementia/ALZ. She had also lost a lot of weight in her facility so her box if store bought briefs were too large now (even after doubling up). I purchased the S/M and she is around 130lbs at the moment. I still double them up just in case and it helps especially at night or if she is on the couch. While I still use washable bed pads, its out of an abundance of caution I've developed over the years. They seem very good right now and I hope they continue to be low cost or less than name brands anyways. If you're using four of these per day on average, it adds up. I actually also would like to add that I prefer them being white over the beige or "neutral" skin color as it's easier to see they are soiled with urine. Sounds like you'd have to know, right? But if glancing and not really sticking your head there or by touch (no!) then you want to see it quickly to make a decision and get on with cleanup or go about other chores.
