This is a familiar men's brand and known for decent quality. Lab Series is owned by Estee Lauder, which provides prestigious beauty products to the world. It has been a while since using any lab series products but I was never disappointed in the past. Over their years I have been more focusing on the ingredients and making sure to purchase products that have exactly what I'm looking for rather than a mystery bottle from a brand name. This moisturizer is formulated using niacinamide at 4%. Niacinamide is technically a form of vitamin B that has been clinically proven to reduce fine lines, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and a host of other skin benefits. For most people it will take about 30 days to start to see visible results, from tests done during the clinical trials. So I would say to anyone that is trying to use with hopes of reducing fine line to be mindful of the time it will normally take before really showing what it can do. When dispensed, this moisturizer has a great consistency that spreads easily. I really like the texture. It has a mild fragrance which is very subtle and fades quickly. The first time I used this I was a little bit unsure if I would like it because my skin seemed to harden shortly after applying. I think this is part due to the formula which includes emollients to help create a protective barrier on your skin and lock in the moisture. Other key ingredients in includes glycerin, for hydration, and caffeine that can help reduce puffiness. It also has some other ingredients to help in terms of anti-aging. Overall this is a quality product from a esteemed brand and you can probably trust the ingredients as they are explained on the label.. I think it will take several weeks to start to show major improvements but it is going to be worth the wait. Keep in mind this moisturizer does not include any sunscreen, which does be applied right afterwards.
