This item is only ok. Although it functions the timer feature on the remote (and the reason I bought it) does not work. The light will blink after you press the timer button to confirm you've switched modes, but then it will run indefinitely and not turn off after the allotted time. Likewise, the screws and metal exposed parts were not coated and are already seriously rusted. You also have to be basically right on top of this item for it to get the remote signal. All in all not really worth it since I bough it for the timer feature so I could turn it on, and enjoy it from my window for a few hours.
