Use this to control living room strip LED lighting. Oddly enough, the LED strip is not the "dimmable" type, but the unit seems to manage perfectly well despite this. Very slight hum noise at dimmer light levels, but you can't really hear it under normal conditions. Wireless works well, with memory effect of last brightness setting when turning on/off at the power-source level.

This is a simple to fit dimmer unit, worked by a key fob so it can be fitted out of reach. I used it to dim additionally fitted car LED daylight running lights (DRL) that are too bright at dusk. The product is fine, neat and small and works well if it works on arrival. I have bought four so far but two were not not working at all,. I really like this product, but the failure of 2 out of 4 seems a bit high. The items should be tested before release which would be fairly easy to do. Do not be put off this product but ask for it to be tested. All being well I would rate this product at 5 stars.

Excellent product,small unit easy to conceal as its radio controlled and not infra red.Dead simple to wire up and works my total of 8.5 metres of flexible led light strips smoothly (total approx 40 watts)from off to full brightness.Also has a direct button for instant on/off.The remote control battery (12volt)is replaceable.Prompt sevice from supplier .Five Stars all around.

unable to use this item as deck lights purchased for use with these have not yet been used....had new kitchen with new lighting so didn't use these lights yet but seems OK

Used this with 4m led strip. Seemed well enough made. Strip transformer came with plugs which I had to cut off because this unit has spring loaded terminals. Unit worked for about three weeks and then failed completely. Had to return to Amazon for refund. Quality control or quality of components clearly not good enough. I have bare wires instead of plugs now because this unit was useless. Pity.

Worked ok at first, swithching on and off as expected. Tried to dim the lights and they went up and down a couple of times. Then nothing/ zilch, no life from the unit. Returned to Amazon for full refund.

This unit benefits from using radio, rather than infra-red, control so it can be hidden away out of sight. The supplied keyfob is small and easy to use. Easy to wire up, but be careful with the spring loaded connectors as they are fragile.
