Definitely a good buy
Bag came exactly as described in the description. Very spacious (25 liters hello), sturdy and most importantly, pretty-looking. I am seriously obsessed with the colour scheme of this bag.At the back, there is a zipper at the side that opens to the laptop compartment. It's padded too; serves as protection for your prized tech possession as well as makes it comfortable for the person carrying the bag around. The fact that there's a separate zipper to access your laptop from the side makes it super convenient because you don't have to go through the top and dig past all the other things that you've packed. There are 2 drawstrings to go through to access bag from the top, a bit of a hassle if you ask me, but I can live with it because it kind of helps to protect my belongings inside from the elements outside. It also prevents anything from falling out if the bag were to accidentally topple over. The material inside is made out of something that is water-resistant. So you can be sure that your things would be kept dry should you find yourself caught in the rain without much 'protection'. However, that can't be said about the outside of the bag, as it is made from some sort of canvas. Would've been nice tho if every part of the bag was made out of a water-resistant material. But then again, I guess that would compromise the aesthetics of it all.Overall, very pleased with this bag. Probably more suited for travelling as it is quite big. However, the straps at the front could be adjusted to make the bag slightly smaller and less 'space-obstructive', if that makes any sense. As a bag, the design is practical, functional and at the same time stylish. Would say that it's quite reasonably-priced as well. Definitely a good buy.

This is a great backpack
This backpack is great. It’s a perfect size for pretty much whatever you need to use it for. I use it for travel and school and it works super well. This backpack is not only super functional, it also looks really really good, and stylish. I’d recommend this backpack to anyone, it is more than worth the price.Overview:This backpack has a medium sized pocket on the top which comes in handy, it also has a mesh pocket on the inside, a padded laptop sleeve, and another sleeve like thing that you could use for books or paperwork (or anything you can really fit inside of it). In all, I’d highly recommend this backpack to anyone.

College Student here - Perfect pack
TL:DR - 5 out of 5. Will be buying again if ever my first pack wears out or I need to gift this pack to any unlucky soul having a lesser backpack.I purchased this pack as a way to improve my college backpacking experience. I have found over my primary school years that backpacks under $40 do not stand up to a large amount of abuse. Abuse being defined as a large quantity of books, and supplies place in the pack at one time. The Burton Tinder pack solves this problem by providing grade A+ material and design. I love the single main compartment, laptop compartment and outside zipper compartment. These three compartments create a slim, simplistic, and versatile feel that typical school backpacks lack. While having more compartments (like a standard backpack) is nice if you like to organized items by category in separate areas, my school needs only require two areas (sametime the laptop compartment too). Thus I find this pack perfect for most if not all college students’ needs. The only "difficulty" I have with the tinder pack (and when I say difficulty I do not mean an actual challenge, more like slight technique adjustment) is that there is a flap at the top of the inside of the pack that is corded to tighten down and secure the items on the inside. This flap occasionally gets in the way of binders with exterior rings, and book edges. This occurred at the beginning of my purchase, but now I simply adjust the flap to direct it downward to place items inside or upward to take items out. The minor style change is well worth the additional flap as inclement weather does slow me down any more, as I have this flap to prevent water from easily ruining my book/papers. Additionally for the negative sides, I will say this pack does not hold a day’s worth of courses (for me that is 4 courses and a few extracurriculars). At a maximum I have carried with me 3 full size chemistry books, 3 one inch binders a laptop, and various writing utensils.

I love this backpack
Excellent backpack. I originally purchased this for a trip to Maine thinking I would only use it casually. It quickly became my favorite backpack and started taking my engineering-grade laptop to work in it, which is heavy. I commute through the city every morning and this backpack has held up well and comfortable when packed full. It has a laptop pocket and another pocket not he inside as well as a mesh zipper pocket on the inside and a spacious zipper pouch on the lid, which I like to keep things I need to access quickly in (Metrocard, Sunglasses, etc). I have received occasional compliments on the print and sometimes I see people squinting their eyes on the subway trying to make out the brand name to buy for themselves.
