Thick waxed threads in variegated themes of colors for crafts, jewelry, macramé, crochet
Sturdy thick strong thread that is uniquely variegated with complementary tones of choice, in vibrant or profound options. I picked Vibrant and might be back for the profound later. These are going to work well with intricate crafts that alternate color as you go for a unique effect in crochet, macrame, bracelet and necklace making, crafts, hand sewing embroidery and detailing, and more. The colors are bright and beautifully crafted and the paper insert lets you know when and how to cut the strands for use so that your project will have matching strings if it matters, if it doesn't matter it at least lets you know that a new batch could be on the spool which can change the effect slightly during your projects. If this change-over is unsettling, this set might not be for you. If you don't mind there might be a noticeable difference the things you make will be a kind of boho mix-match.This set of 8 spools also comes with a wrist measuring tape, a finger ring measuring tape, and four-thread organizers to help you sort out the threads for your project to line up the variegated pattern if you want it to line up.At the cost of this divided up with 8 spools, they equate to 3.12 per spool but you also get a few extra items included so if divided up by all parts (14pc) it makes each item 1.79 which is fair and decent either way. Don't want the bonus items? Give them to a local crafter.Excellent threads, good value, multipurpose use for crafts.

Gorgeous colors!
If you've worked with variegated thread or yarn before, you know that it can look very different worked up than it does when it's still wound. In fact, it can vary a lot from project to project. So far, this is turning out great for me!I'd been watching for some good thread for micro macrame, so I jumped on this as soon as I saw it, and I'm glad I did! It took a bit to figure out how I wanted to cut the thread, especially since this project uses different lengths of thread and starts in separate pieces. But it was well worth it. I love the result! And I admit it's probably best to only take the amount you need off the spool, but I didn't do that for this colorway. It makes such a pretty hank! Oh, and the loops are dyed symmetrically. I assume it's dyed while it's doubled over into a line, rather than kept in a circle.Anyway, it works up great, and it's a joy to use! I'm looking forward to using more of this.

Tie one on
This waxed thread is very nice. It has intense colors and I really appreciate that. While it is thinner than the ideal size I wanted (as I suspected it would be when I ordered it,) I decided to get it anyway and double/triple up on the threads to use them the same way as I would have the thicker thread. Waxed thread is great for making bracelets out of because they withstand wear in the water so well. It is also good to use for heavier duty sewing repairs like on my dog's outside raised bed because, not only does it withstand rain better, the thread is less likely to fray because of the wax coating. It can be used with a sewing awl quite well. This set offers 8 different variegated color options with plenty of thread for making lots of bracelets or whatever use you see fit for it. I would definitely recommend it and may shop its manufacturer to see if they offer different weights of this, too.

Beautiful
Gorgeous thread variety. This thread is thicker than standard sewing thread, and would be great for embroidery, book binding, and other surface decoration.

Interesting Color Combinations In A High-Quality, Waxed Thread
Strong variegated thread has gorgeous color combinations that will look great with any craft you use them for. I do see some instructions in the posting as to how to make sure that the color "segments" line up/coordinate so that you can see the variegated effect of multiple strands together. There is also a small booklet in the package that gives you the same information after purchase. I'll probably use these more for PU leather sewing and stringing objects that I'd like to have the "cording" be colored, but the examples of how these can look when using with bracelets and other multiple-strand items are certainly eye-catching. These are really beautiful combinations that I don't think I've ever seen before and I'm excited to use them. I do find them to be a bit expensive but so unusual and strong that it's one of those "you get what you pay for" items.

Gorgeous variegated waxed thread
I am in love with the look of this gorgeous set of variegated spools of waxed thread. Please see my photos. Included in the set are 8 sets of color coordinating polyester thread which is waxed with natural beeswax. You cannot use this thread in a sewing machine as the wax would be stripped and possibly damage the sewing machine. So this is meant for crafting, making jewelry or hand stitching items such as leather and faux leather. The purpose I intend to use it for is coiling pine needle baskets. I think it will make a striking design. The set also includes a plastic ring and wrist sizer as well as plastic thread organizers (I think the organizers are useful if weaving with this thread to be able to match the repeat of the dye pattern).

Variegated threads
When I first saw these I was interested in the fact the threads were waxed. Unsure why, it caught my curiosity so I ordered them. There is a warning image on the advert page that states the variegated matching of the thread cannot be supported for its matching ability if adhering to the instructions is not met. So I have to make sure a printout is made to follow the instructions if I want them to match as I braid. However, I thought the idea of a variegated thread/yard is done to be variegated at the end result.Another thing I found weird in the warning image was it said there are 4 wire clips. I do not see any wire clips, they are all plastic and I do not see any wire anywhere, only waxed thread. The plastic things included are not clips either, they have hooks on them. The only thing I find as a reason for wax on the thread is to make them stronger. There is a small sheet of information written on one side. There is also what looks like measuring devices made of soft plastic in two sizes. I think one if for measuring a wrist to make a bracelet and one for measure a finger for making a ring.Looks like a good kit.
