Linux swapped machine
I tested the original Windows system before I removed it without issues and the laptop was quick to start up and under normal operation it functioned fine. It did appear to be an upgraded Windows 7 computer in the BIOS. Windows was only removed as this was purchased for work where I do "geek" computer things that Linux is easier to use. If you are looking for a solid laptop to use for Linux this machine is a solid choice. You will need to go into Windows and change a few settings to do the conversion to whatever Linux Distribution you decide to go with. Pro: It's a very sleek, slim, and fast computer for the price point. It has a ethernet connection point unlike most laptops anymore. Con: I am not a fan of the powercharger that was included and have it currently running off a docking station. Overall I will probably grab another one of these laptops for personal usage.

Speakers aren't very loud
I like Lenovo computers so after my old one with the horrible square power connector died I got this one. As far as performance I liked my old one better, it also had backlit keyboard, but this one is ok. Biggest issue I have with this one is the speakers. Even at the highest setting they are not very loud. Some things are so low I have to cast to my Tv so I can up the volume. I need another computer for my husband, but I will not be getting another one of this model.

Great Laptop, Excellent Price!
So far, I love it. This laptop is well-made and it is fast. What I had before this was custom made. I love the fact that I received this laptop "next day" and it is everything I expected. Lenovo keyboards have great tactile feel. I just wish it had a DVD burner. I do a lot of music and video editing.

Looking for something that works on this computer
The camera does not work. I spent hours attempting to get ahold of tech support to see if I was missing something. It has a slide lock yet even when moved, there is just a blur. The volume is very low and if there is any sound level changes, it is hard to listen to other person. The microphone while on Zoom has a red exclamation mark, and no idea how to remove it as it is not muted. Maybe only techies purchase this brand, it was my first and unfortunately will be my last. Back to a more reliable brand. Does have great storage. And is fast and great colors.

This is the best computer ever
I let time test this product a while, the computer is very fast and can handle a lot of data abuse going in and out. Its very light and looks light duty but It's not, it's a BEAST! tech gets smaller, but more powerful. I would highly recommend, I got a laptop for 4.7k and it never performed as well as this one.

MUAH ****The POWER****
This is a great light weight heavy duty laptop. I am able to use it for my cybersecurity journey and even create virtual systems without bogging down the system. Non-Geek Translation: It has alot of storage space, easy to use, the screen doesn't have high tech resolution but it isn't for gaming, designed for the everyday student or buisness person on the go. Way to step it up Lenovo!

Exactly as advertised. Everything worked out of the box. Dual booting w/Fedora42 - wifi and bluetooth all working without any drama. This is the best deal I've seen in the last couple of months, very happy. Good laptop, great price.
