Jam with Hank Marvin (Guitar Tab with Free Audio CD)

Very helpful well put together, I am a beginner very easy to follow , made progress so quickly

Firstly the title of the product is rather misleading, you are not jamming with Hank Marvin anywhere with this product. The backing tracks are created by a professional session band in a similar style to the shadows.My favourite shadows track is Riders in the Sky and that was my main reason for purchase to get a backing track that I could jam away with as the shadows recording has synths and elements I can't reproduce.I have to say I was rather disappointed that some elements are missed out. In my opinion there are also times on this track where lead guitar 2 is too loud (the highest chorus section near the end) compared to original recordings. This is off putting as you cannot mute it and spoils the end result for me.But...If you consider this is a book with tabular notation with a CD that has both a completed version and backing track for each song when used as a learning tool it could be very rewarding.From what I have looked at, the notation is very close if not exact to original lead and style as played by Hank Marvin on the shadows tracks.Didn't really work for me but it could be very good for others.

Excellent book. Great on fender Strat and using whammy bar. Easy ish to play. Backing tracks great quality with and without guitar. Buy a cd drive £25 for computer then copy cd to computer. Send files to phone and open is amazing slow downer software. Perfect well worth the money

very easy readable music with simple playable tunes for a 77 year old beginner like me.

Yes very god for all you Hank Marvin fans, accurate tabs and good backing tracks, shame they don't do some of the newer stuff too.

I am having fun learning the songs in this book. I am glad I bought it.

Accurate Tabs ... at least for one version of each song. Hank has moved around the fret board a bit over the years. My CD played fine, now imported to iTunes!!!

Sehr gute Backing Tracks und ausgezeichnete Notationen bzw. Tabulaturen zum Lernen.Ich habe gute Erfahrungen gemacht und kann diesen Gitarrenworkshop nur empfehlen.Außerdem ist die Lieferung schnell und zuverlässig aus England erfolgt.

初心者でも弾けるレベルです。ただyoutubeとはちょっと違っていたのが少し残念でした。
