Nice wee book
I have started to collect this seires of books, this is another to the collection, its got some very evocative emotional images as well as mundane. Happy to have in collection but does not stand outlike the work of Don McCullin, but I guess its subjective to the individual.

Five Stars
A good way of getting some more of Robert Capa's photos at a very reasonable cost.

Why oh why did he do it ??
The question of course relates to what has become Robert Capas most famous or perhaps now it has almost certainly been proved beyond reasonable doubt to have been a staged photo, perhaps I should say his most infamous photo. This book carrys a good selection of Capas' work and will give evry enthusiast an idea of what went through his mind and how he ticked but always now for me is the un-answered question of what made him stage THIS particular photo when his own maxim was "if your photos aren't good enough, you're not near enough" referring to the battle action and I can now unfortunately never look at his work in the same light!
