In designing the new bathroom my wife really wanted a floating vanity. Not sure a farmhouse is where floating vanities are meant to go, but there now will be one. My problem was coming up with the lighting for under that vanity. Getting the right effect can require a lot of trial and error, and most every lighting setup I looked at either wasn't dimmable, or it was a set color temperature.So I had no ability to alter the lighting to adapt to the space. 16' of 6000k light at full strength could well be overwhelming, destroying the impact I was hoping to create. This set had exactly what I was looking for. I can both alter the light temperature as well as the intensity. Now when I hear a certain someone saying it simply is not bright enough I can have a quick fix. And vice-versa. For mood lighting this is ideal.Very reasonable price, and from my testing the light seems to be a nice general wash of the area as opposed to single LEDs in a row. I will admit I have not tried the app. I tend to be an old fuddy-duddy and my phone has so many apps on it I can't find half of them, and the other half don't work very well. So I will stick to adjusting this with the switch, which will be under the vanity, but that is okay since my wife can use the app for adjustments.Really pleased I found just what I wanted and it isn't a ridiculous price.

We have been adding accent lighting to various places around the house so when I saw this set with the app I wanted to give it a try. Overall, I would say that at this price point it's a pretty good deal, especially considering the app features. I am always a little bit concerned with generic products with apps just because of security issues nowadays, however on my phone's download portal it says that this is a safe and does not take your information at all. I am still going to monitor its usage to make sure but so far, it's worked fine and without concerns. This is important because the app lets you control the lights so much easier than the simple single button on the cord itself. The light is quite bright at its fullest intensity and conversely, it can dim down to a very pleasant and dimly subtle accent illumination. You can switch between "moods" however they are only slight variations of the two basic Kelvin settings of daylight (cool) and soft (warm). The light strip doesn't get very warm which is a big concern with anything like this but I haven't had it on all day yet so I will be paying attention to that for a while to make sure. Overall, I would say that so far, I can give this light strip a five-star review and recommend it to anyone looking at it. If anything comes up or it doesn't last, I will be sure to update my review.

I ordered these because I really liked the option to adjust the color temperature. The lights are very bright, and easy to trim to size. The cord was a decent length. My problem was with the remote and the app. The remote has one button and it is next to impossible to get it to change to the temperature color of lights that you want. The app was easy enough to download, but when you go to the temperature section, the app crashes. After 12 crashes, I gave up and deleted the app and took the lights down.

I like this ribbon of LED lights for adding accent lighting to almost any space near an electrical outlet. IT can be controlled manually as well as through a downloaded app on your smartphone. I just used the manual switch as I don't need constant customization, but your application may be different. These lights provide about the equivalent of an old fashioned 60 watt light bulb all together, so they will not offer bright task lighting and I was hoping for a bit more power in that regard. But they work well under a counter int he kitchen or to highlight any area of your home that needs attention drawn to it, like a set of portraits on a wall, or some decorative artwork. The ribbon is flexible that contains the little LED lights, so you can make it fit almost any situation. And the temperature and intensity are adjustable, so this lighting ribbon can be used in many situations.

Super east to install, it looks great under the cabinet. The app to control the light...not so great, it's hard to connect to and once you do, it doesn't let you adjust the lighting, it force closes the app. We set up a timer and that works great. Overall, we really like it!

Everything I needed! All top grade quality and assembly. Excellent remote control. Great length all add to a good value in a crowded space. Beautiful controlled light with no complaints.

The lights were simple to install. I really like that I can control them from my phone!
