My 5 year old grandson is really into bugs right now. This collection was bought as a christmas gift for him. The quality is great and my grandson is so excited about them! I woud say it's a great gift value. I'm not into insects. However, each insect was beautifully cased.

Great gift for preschool and grade school age boys. I have purchased this set for twice for 2 of my nephews that are around 4 years old. They LOVE them. I bought a magnifying glass and a Bug picture book to go with them and their Moms both said they look at these often and will spend lots of quiet time studying them. They are also great to take on road trips to keep the littles off devices or from watching TV. I cannot recommend these specimen sets enough.
