Great cooler!
I'm really liking this cooler. I love that it's lighter than our previous rotomolded coolers - about 10# lighter actually! It's so much easier to move around when full. Pretty sure it's the best cooler I've ever owned.A great thing about this particular cooler is the size of the interior. I have other major brand rotomolded fishing coolers and their reusable ice blocks don't fit into the bottom of their cooler. It's driven me agro for years. The Engel interior base is 11 3/4 across so fits those freezer blocks nicely.Other things I really like: High quality lid seal, rubberized replaceable latches, non-slip feet, included divider and basket. The divider and basket are great accessories. I like not having to pay extra for small things like that. The divider has been quite useful when splitting the cooler between adult and kid beverages.Engel quality is top notch. I've used their fridge/freezers for years and am happy to add this cooler to my system.

Rugged and light. Good weight to performance ratio
Offers the ruggedness of a high end cooler but weighs less. If you want really good ice retention and performance but don’t need like 10+ days this the way to go. Probably the best weight to performance ratio and close to rotomolded ice retention.

Heavyweight performance in a lightweight package.
This cooler is the perfect combination of weight, capacity and price. The heavy duty rotomolded 10 day ice retention coolers are awesome for extended trips, extreme heat, etc.- I own several of them, but that extended ice retention comes with a high price tag and some serious weight to lug around. Often (and most often) I only need to keep things cold from 1-4 days. I've used this cooler a couple times now, and once was for a long weekend. I did pre-chill the cooler overnight as I always try and do, but it lost less than half the ice over the 3+ days with the lid being opened repeatedly. I didn't really notice a difference in ice retention from my standard Engels or YETIs in that duration. I'm guessing 5+ days wouldn't be an issue. The reduced weight is appreciated when lugging it around (it weighs the exact same as my YETI 35, and has twice the capacity), and the price is right- bridging the gap between HD rotomolded monsters and cheap off the shelf semi-disposables that don't last or keep ice well. My standard Engels will still get the call for week-long hunting and fishing adventures, but this new "lightweight 60" is the perfect size and weight for daily to long weekend use. The included divider, basket, and built-in bottle opener are bonuses, as is the fact that most 750ml-1L wine and liquor bottles fit inside standing up- something that always annoyed me about most 50-65qt coolers. I'm guessing this will become my most used cooler.

Strong and Sturdy Holds Ice WellThis ice chest
This ice chest cooler is the best I've ever owned. It holds ice very well in the Louisiana tropical heat. The trick is to put really cold ice in to start with. The ice from those ice maker vending machines is barely below freezing temp. If you can, put in a couple of frozen jugs of ice at below 0* F degrees to cool the inside of the cooler down. The snap down latches seal the box tightly and the large sturdy threaded drain plug with a rubber gasket will not accidently leak or come out.It is not a cheap box like you buy at Dollar General but costs less than some other brands that are no better. Highly recommended.

Light and Nice, full of Ice
First off, I own lots of coolers.....and this is a good one. It's a high quality cooler that will hold up to abuse much more than the standard "disposable" coolers, but much lighter weight than the other options of rotomolded coolers. Good size interior and exterior, comes with a divider and basket which are super nice standard options. I am unsure if it will hold up as well as my 123's and 65's but for the price it worth putting it through the wringer.

Works better than the more expensive RTIC
This cooler kept the ice for almost three times longer than the RTIC brand. Light weight and comes with accessories that you would have to buy separately with RTIC as well. Better quality and value for your money. Only downside is that it needs nice built in wheels for when the cooler is completely full.

THIS COOLER IS THE ONE!!!
As a Charter Captain here in New England I’ve used a lot of coolers over the years. This cooler is THE ONE!! Not too hefty, this cooler is perfect for moving in and out the boat. In a few months, I'm excited to use it for lengthy offshore fishing trips because it keeps all of my food and drinks cool. The handles are fantastic, and the entire cooler has a pretty tidy appearance. The 7 days of ice retention are were 100% accurate. After my first use, I tested the cooler by filling it with ice, liquids. I managed to store ice and cold water for around 9days in my garage with temperatures in the upper 70s. I could store cold water for longer than a 10days and ice for roughly 9days. This was also being used frequently. a few times a day, going out and getting beverages from it. This cooler has my highest recommendation!!!!

Yes good quality. Heavy, you are not carrying this thing up and down beach. Keep in boat or truck, OK.It's a keeper!
