Really Like This Mattress - Better on Firm Side
I really like this mattress. The good thing about having a home with a lot of bedrooms in it is that you can try different mattresses (and choose the one you like best for the master suite) and not wonder if you're missing out on something. Mattresses can be very different from one another and you don't always get what you pay for. In this case, there are a lot of features that make it a winner in my book.First, the ability to switch the sides from softer support to firmer support. My husband absolutely loves the softer side. I prefer the firmer side. To me, the softer side was literally like sinking into a marshmallow without mush support. The firm side cradles me and keeps me from experiencing painful pressure points (especially in my hips) when I sleep and keeps my back as pain free as it's going to get. The soft side would drive me nuts, but my husband absolutely loves it. That is the great thing about this mattress. It's like having the benefits of a split king in a single mattress. It took almost no time at all for this to fully expand and it had absolutely no chemical smell like so many of the mattresses I have bought and tried in the past. With that being said, it is very heavy. There is no way I could have gotten this onto the bed (or gotten the one side out of the cover and turned over) by myself. The outer cover isn't quite like what it appears to be in the video, but since it's covered with linens that's not really a drawback. Just another thing to keep in mind. Only time will tell if issues develop with this mattress (like the very expensive "executive" type mattress we had bought previously that developed a huge dip in less than six months) but I will definitely update my review if anything does happen. It comes with a 20 year warranty, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend if you're looking for a higher-end, versatile mattress and have a larger budget. If the price point of this is out of your budget and still want high-end comfort, I would suggest Casper. That is the second most comfortable mattress we have, with this one coming in first.

Very comfortable and cool
I've been sleeping on this mattress for about a week. The first night I tried the soft side, which was nice, though I felt I sunk in a bit too much for my liking. So I flipped it to the more firm side and I'm very happy with it. It certainly is noticeably cooler than my old mattress - I always had my legs sticking out from under the blanket, if not the blankets thrown all the way off myself, but with this mattress I'm just fine with the blankets on top of me all night. I find the firmness just right for me - it supports me very nicely and comfortably, but it's not hard or stiff at all. I've been getting some very nice night's sleep on this.I'm using a bed which does not have a box spring, and I find it doesn't make a difference at all. I'm not noticing any difference in flexibility compared to my old mattress and box spring. It comes delivered rolled up in a box, about 2' X 2' and as long as the mattress is wide. They must have used quite a powerful machine to compress this thing and get it stuck in that box, but it made delivery much easier than I would have imagined. I just opened the box and let it naturally expand to its full size. Once it expands it holds its shape every bit as well as any matress delivered in a more conventional fashion.Overall I'm very happy with this mattress. As I said I've been sleeping quite soundly on it and that's all I can ask for.
