I assumed I'd be returning this product, based on so many unhappy reviews, but I'm delighted to find myself in the 5-star club. This stuff is fantastic for my super-thick, SUPER-frizzy 2c hair. I had just about given up hope of ever taming the frizz, but using this mousse paired with a leave-in conditioner has given me the lightest, fullest, bounciest waves I've ever had, with drastically reduced frizz. It has excellent second-day performance as well - my waves held up better after being slept on, and were more cooperative with attempts to refresh them than with my previous mousse. It does have a strong scent, but for me it's no worse than pretty much all of my hair products that also have scents I could do without.

I do really like this, be carful not to use too much though! Will make ur hair very sticky and almost unmanageable. I use just a little on my dongles and massage at the roots. Worked much better for me!

Not what I expected. It makes my hair stiff and even frizzier. I have only used once and will try to return it.

Love this brand as it is free of the bad stuff and I usually have loved the products but this one sadly left my hair feeling dry and lifeless. I have very fine hair tho so it may be better for you.

My hair is straight, fine, and thinning. I tried putting this on my hair when wet and blow drying/styling, but it seemed as if there was too much product and too stiff (maybe even a little sticky). Allowing my hair to air dry for about 20 minutes or so and then applying a small amount through mostly the ends, with just a tiny bit along the top and then either blowing/styling or letting dry naturally seems to work very well for me! Depends on what you need and want from your styling product. I just wanted a little body without much 'stiffness'. Using more would allow for more hold in specific styling choices.

I used this for my curls and while it does create hold, it can be a little heavy if you use too much due to the polymers. I don't love the smell.. kind of perfumey. Unscented option would be great! I will continue to use it for some volume, but not on it's own most likely.

I should have bought this sooner. Gives great volume, fights frizz and my hair is so soft. Game Changer!
