This snake is very substantial. I upgraded my dollar store plastic snake and what a difference! I didn’t want to drop more than 20 bucks on some bulky complicated auger, and this is a great middle ground. Solid metal construction with substantial plastic handle.

It has worked well, so far. I recommend it. Just be aware that your drainage issues may come from other reasons, or the stoppage is far down the pipe.
