I’ve been using this matte screen protector on my work iPad since May, and it’s easily one of my favorite accessories I’ve purchased for it.The anti-glare coating makes a huge difference, especially when working near windows or under bright office lighting. The biggest surprise, though, has been how well it hides fingerprints. My screen used to constantly look smudged, but now it stays looking clean throughout the day with very little effort.The installation frame made applying it simple, and it’s held up well after months of daily use with no issues. The matte finish does slightly soften the display compared to bare glass, but it’s a trade-off I’d happily make for the reduction in glare and fingerprints.If you use your iPad for work, note-taking, or long periods throughout the day, I’d absolutely recommend this screen protector.

As other reviews have stated, it's smooth enough that it feels like glass with your hands and textured enough that you can feel some feedback with your pen. If you have any experience using Huion/XP-pen screen tablets, it's similar to their anti-glare laminated glass texture. You will notice some anti-glare sparkle (Google "Anti-glare sparkle Sevenpens" to get an idea of what it looks like) which is expected when applying any texture to tablet screens.If you're a traditional artist I would describe the texture as analogous to a Strathmore bristol paper, smooth to the touch but noticeable feedback.One important note for the application to minimize airbubbles, don't use their included bracket. Use the tried and true method of turning on the bathroom sink/after a shower and apply your screen protector then. Carefully align the protector on your screen manually. Then apply it on either side WHILE pushing out air bubbles with the other hand.I tried following their instructions and it led to distracting penny sized air bubbles around the screen. I reapplied it with my steps and now only extremely tiny bubbles remain at the very edge of the screen.If I could do it again I would've been more patient to get a perfect application but as an artist I'm happy with the amount of texture this screen protector has.

I needed a screen protector to prevent a flare on my tablet as it was distracting when using it and seeing my reflection. The installation video accessible with QR code in instructions was a step by step detail making installation easy. This matte protector 100% provides that result and I'd purchase it again.

The Bad:Watch and especially listen to my video and you'll see (and hear) that the Mothca Matte Glass Screen Protector is not made of glass at all. The product description specifically lists its material as "tempered glass". It's not. It's some type of plastic.Now that I've gotten that out of my system:The Good:The screen protector does have a matte finish which I love because it all but eliminates glare at most angles.It's a multi-function screen: Protection, anti-glare, and smudge-resistant (at least appearance-wise).The Great:This isn't my first screen protector to include a kit that makes perfect alignment simple, but it's a much bigger screen than a phone, so a kit like this matters much more with a tablet. It allows for an almost fool-proof installation.I did initially see a few bubbles under the protector but I fairly easily eliminated them using a thin but stiff plastic card.I would have rated this product at a solid five stars, but I just can't get past it being called glass when it's clearly (pun intended) not. I don't think it's really inferior to glass, but the seller should really temper (another pun, sorry) expectations by listing the real material it's made of.

This screen protector worked amazing. I dropped my tablet on the concrete, and when I picked it up, I saw cracks, and initially I thought my screen cracked until I looked closer and realized that all of the damage was on the screen protector. On initial installation, I did have some bubbling and lint under the screen, but I do believe that was a user Error because i'm never very good at Putting them on. I like the satin finish of the screen protector and the Matte finish, it works really well in the Sun There's no glare i line in the desert & read outside a lot. The fit was perfect. I will be purchasing again since I actually do need a new one now.

I got this after looking around for a while for a decent looking matte screen protector and came across this, it just arrived in the mail today and so far everything went well, the installation wasn’t hard and I got rid of any air bubbles pretty easily. Though it would’ve been nice to have a second extra one.I think the screen protector looks good and seems to be a decent quality for what you get, I’ve been testing it out for a couple hours now and sometimes it almost seems like some of my taps and swipes don’t exactly register but other than that it’s seems to be a decent product thus far, I’m going to keep my eye on the taps and swipes not registering because I’m not sure if it’s the screen protector causing that to happen or me, not pressing down hard enough.I would give this a full 5 stars if we received 2 in the package but other than that it seems like a decent product.UPDATE: I’ve been using this daily since getting it and yes it protects my screen, and yes it looks good on the device with its matte finish but I’ve noticed a huge problem… a lot of my taps and swipes don’t always register and I’m thinking of taking the screen protector off, so I don’t know if this is an issue with just the screen protector and brand but it’s definitely something to look out for.. it’s been very annoying having to deal with this issue so I’ve lowered my review to 3 stars

Finding a screen protector that delivers a proper writing feel without ruining screen clarity is tough, but Mothca nailed it. The etched matte finish is smooth, cuts glare effectively, and avoids that awful fuzzy distortion common on textured films. I pair this with titanium alloy nibs to mimic the tactile feedback of my fountain pens, and the combination is easily the best digital writing setup I have used. If you write constantly and care about precise tactile drag, this is the solution.​What genuinely sets this company apart, though, is the customer support. I was interrupted during the initial installation and managed to crack a corner. There was a card in the box offering assistance for installation mishaps, so I reached out through Amazon. I made it clear it was entirely my fault and offered to pay for a replacement since the protector itself was exactly what I wanted. Instead, they sent a replacement right away without hesitation.​That level of support is rare these days. Fantastic writing feel, crisp display clarity, and an honest company standing behind their product. Mothca will be my first stop for every screen protector moving forward. Highly recommended.

I initially bought this mainly to avoid smudging the screen directly with oils from fingers and the anti-glare was a cherry on top, but there were more problems that I found after installing it.Cons:1. The "glass" protector itself. its not real glass or tempered, Its plastic. It snapped in half when I tried bending it, not shards or w/e. While sometimes i prefer something more on the plastic side for screen protectors (It can handle smaller impacts since itll dent not crack), this isnt one of them.2. Adhesion. It has very weak adhesion and comes off really easy hence why you see bubbles pop out (also because there is more surface area but thats only a small factor to the overall use)3. Visuals. The matte is the alternative to AR/AG (anti-reflective/anti-glare) and it does a good job. However, this particular protector seems to add a lot of "grain"-y visual to the screen it looks very off. It could be the adhesive thats the problem or the material itself since its matte plastic. And this is the dealbreaker for me. Let's be honest, most people have their tablets close to their eyes/face, maybe around 8-16in in between 80% of the time but you can't argue that fact. But because of that, youll more than likely to notice what im talking about.4. Accessories. Mainly the microfiber and the alcohol wiping kit. The microfiber is cheap, feels very rough to the point you feel like scratching your screen than cleaning it, and its very small. The size wouldnt matter a whole lot if what were installing it on was a smartphone size, but this is a tablet. Make it twice the size please.Pros:1. Comes in with an alignment accessory, always a good thing in my books. Not all people have steady hands and/or good at properly lining protectors up.2. Price. It can be argued yes, but for this quality it COULD be lower. But its about right.TLDR, product is plastic, ruins visual clarity because of grainy display. Would not recommend

Impressed by this protector. Applying the screenprotector was really easy. I took the matte version and there is no reflection at all. Not sure if it soms the brightness of the colors as I applied it before starting the tablet for the first time. The s pen feels like scratching over paper, which is fine as well.Considering buying one for my smartphone as well.
