Not many PCs come with internal CD/DVD drives anymore, since that format has become largely obsolete. But many of us may have information stored on these media that we need to access. This Unitek device has worked excellently for me. The other great thing about it is that it also functions as an expansion device for USB devices, and it has a card reader. It is an excellent value and a great device to read our older media.

We had old CD that had pictures but no CD player. This works great to utilize and copy to digital.

I could not use this item with my iPad. When I sent a text, they quickly responded that it was not what I was doing that it is not compatible with the iPad. I appreciated the quick response from the company.

Just got a new desktop all in one and much to my surprise it doesn't have a cd drive or media card reader.Only time will tell the quality

It's a little slower than my liking, but it does work and it does do what it says it does, I learned more about data transfer cables, so I am going to try this again and make sure that I have everything up to par and hopefully it speeds up a little bit, but I've done more reading on these in the last couple weeks and when you go to purchase them, they have to be very specific about the speed of the transfer and the burning and reading, but this company makes unbelievable products, one of which is the solid state drive readers... so please do not allow this review to discourage you from looking at their website and all the other things that they have to offer, I can guarantee you'll be impressed and you'll probably buy something more direct from them

I love my portable DVD player. When I realized my new laptop didn't have a DVD player I purchased this portable DVD player. It's easy to use and a life saver when I'm at remote work sites.

Never recognized in Windows 11 no matter what USB port I connected it too. I would have returned it but was out of town and found out too late.
