I decided that I needed a good cleaver for doing things like separating ribs, chopping meat, etc. This knife is everything it promised to be. It is a very heavy blade and it is very sharp. It is so sharp and so easy to hold that I’ve been using it for cutting vegetables as well as prepping meat. I made a flank steak last night and this knife cut diagonally against the grain like a laser! For the price, you just can’t beat this thing and it’s beautiful too. Get one for yourself, you’ll be glad you did.

Freaking sharp knife! Be careful with this one! I was expecting lower quality and not sharp. This is a great quality knife and super sharp! I love this cleaver! First one I've owned. It's pretty and it's hanging on the wall behind my stove.
