Ordered this automatic door closer for my personnel door from the garage to the house at home. This automatic closer works great on my door going from the garage to the house. People in my house have a tendency to leave the garage door open at my house when they come running in. So I decided I have had enough of this and installed an automatic door closer and a drop down door stop. This door closer was easy enough to install and closes the door. I had to fine tune the adjustments a couple of times since I have installed this closer as the spring inside got broken in. However, I have it set almost to the point where you can not hear the door close and latch. This door closer can be installed by a single person with a few power tools and a ladder.Overall, a great automatic door closer.

I requested this door closer for a man door on my garage. So far it works okay.My garage is fairly air tight and sometimes there is a vacuum and the door does not latch completely. At this point it might not be fair to put all the blame on the closer, as i put in a new door frame and it is a composite type. Also the weather strips are set close to the door. I will have to do a little tuning of the frame and weather stripping.

This is a great replacement at a fraction of the cost from my supplier! Good quality that was easy to install/replace myself!

I ordered this for my garage storm door because it wouldn't stay closed (and it didn't help that people going in/out wouldn't ensure that the door was closed.)Installed this (pretty easy installation - we had to install another one on the front door so we knew how to set it up already) and it works flawlessly!The product itself is very heavy duty. There's no doubt that it will last for a while without any issues.Simple to install and even easier to use - this is a great product.No longer do we worry about the door not being closed when people are entering/exiting through the carport.Now, there definitely are cheaper alternatives out there but I wouldn't think that they're the same quality!I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a durable and quality door closer.

Our basement door was always being left open by the children. I was tired of finding it open when critters could get in the basement. So I found this and it had all the nice features.I assembled and was all set to install it, but I hurt my back, so it will not be installed for a few weeks. I was able to test the motion of the closer and it is going to be perfect. It is even ADA compliant which for our application (basement) is not a requirement, but if I was installing this at an office, that is a nice certification.The price seems high, but if you price these commercial versions, you will find the price to be very reasonable.
