STUCK WITH A LAPTOP I CAN’T USE!!
I purchased this laptop because it was recommended for the memory. I purchased it March 2025, July 2025 hardware crash. I contacted the warranty for HP, advised my warranty is invalid because this laptop is ACTUALLY 16GB, NOT the 32GB that is advertised. According to HP, the laptop has been modified, unbeknownst to me. I contacted Asurion. Told they will repair to the correct 16GB. I appreciate that but what I NEED and PAID for is 32GB. Contacted Amazon and was advised that because I have had the laptop more than 30 days, it cannot be returned nor refunded. This is affecting my job! So I have now paid for a laptop that is USELESS to me. I take depositions for a living, I am not a gamer, but was advised gaming laptops have the best memory. Anything less than 32BG is not compatible with my program for work, so even with the repairs, I can’t use this laptop! Frustrating I spent my hard earned money and expected to get what I paid for! HP claims they had one other caller before me with the same issue so now they will “seek approval to file a claim”, but in the meantime my only option to purchase ANOTHER laptop! with the correct GB. SO MAD!!!

Good enough laptop
Great laptop BUT the mouse pad is terrible. It sticks and doesn't respond.

Great for the price
Light weight, quick boot up time, very little noise and the gaming experience is great. The performance is great with every game I've used it for.

Great data processing for Esri products
I bought this for the purpose of running ArcGIS Pro and other powerful software for statistical analysis and it handless all the high powered data processing with ease. Would recommend for users of Esri products, especially if you need to run programs like Rstudio at the same time.

Consider something else
I’m not sure if I got a defective computer, but for $700 this thing had some issues. It kept disconnecting from the WiFi every time I used it, and I know it was just this device because everything else would stay connected. The speakers were crackling, i don’t know what caused it, but i did not modify anything that had to do with audio so i guess this is just how the computer came. Battery life was horrifying, even with just a browser open and on the most battery efficient settings this thing couldn’t stay alive for more than two hours, it is kind of expected for powerful laptops but this things not even all that impressive. It ran low-mid range games fine but don’t expect to play anything at above medium graphics. If you are looking for a budget computer I would say get a pc.

Defective item no support from sellers. Seller Changed out the hard drive voided the warranty
This was huge disappointment. This laptop was a gift for my son. After 3 months of light use it stopped working and gave me a hard disk error 3FO. Which means the hard drive has failed and complete stop working. I called HP and once I gave them the serial numbers and product number. They stayed that that was not one of their laptops. So they could not honor a warranty. I was directed to the seller( A Vendor) I informed them of the defective item and they stated that it was out of the 30 day return policy. That they can't help. This was heartbreaking to my son. The laptop cost over 700 dollars and was expected to at least last 2 maybe 3 years. Neither Ho or Navida or Amazon is willing to help out and solve this common problem. This is unfortunate. So lesson here is do t by from these sellers or vendors. Only buy direct from the company HP, Dell, Lenovo etc..
