Bought this for my 8year old autistic/adhd son to help him focus on something while he tries to go to sleep at night. He's obsessed, and it's helped give him that needed relaxation time at bedtime. Getting it setup was easy, and warning labels were clear about touching (for my son, following rules is paramount), so he knows quite well that it gets hot.Things to note, lava lamps ALWAYS get hot (that's how they work, melt the wax, it floats in the liquid). If you're looking to purchase for your child, make sure they understand they could get burned.

After receiving two cloudy "original brand" lamps and returning them, it was refreshing to receive something that looked good and worked right out of the box. Plugged it in and within a few hours it was flowing. Nice product.

As someone who's never owned a lava lamp, this was a pretty cool little gadget to get my hands on! It was easy to set up and get looks great in my office, it's somewhat calming.This lamp is about half the price of the original Lava Lamp, the quality seems pretty good but as I've never owned one of the original ones, I can't really compare them. I will say that the unit I received looks great.Should you buy this over the original? Maybe, if you're someone on a budget, this is a good buy!

So pretty but has become a little cloudy after a few months

There are a lot of smaller sized Lava lamps on the market now, but this one is much closer to the bigger one that I remember having as a kid. The lamp looks nice and arrived with no issues. The water was clear, which is a concern for some of these newer lava lamps, and after the warm up period the lava was flowing fine.It comes with an extra bulb, which is nice as these bulbs aren't the easiest to find.

My son is a huge fan of lava lamps and this one is his favorite so far. It works exactly like you remember and expect it to. The colors are vibrant and the wax moves well. The extra bulbs are a great QOL add in. Overall we're very satisfied with this lava lamp.

This lamp takes like 2 days to warm up enough to move any liquid. It's a cool little lamp, but unless you're going to have on all the time, the start up time is extensive.

These definitely are nostalgic for me, being a 80s kid. This is a good affordable lava lamp option. Decent quality for what it is. It’s cool and is fun to watch.
