MediPEDS focuses on keeping feet healthy. Our socks are engineered to address diabetes-related symptoms, leg fatigue, swelling, and dry skin. They are constructed with yarns and comfort features that help reduce foot irritation and pressure on the legs. In addition, diabetic crew socks feature nanoglide, a special fiber that helps reduce hot spots and blisters caused by friction. They also include lycra spandex that help keep the non-binding top comfortably in place, a seamless toe that eliminates pressure points and soft cushioning that helps to protect feet and provides extra shock absorption in high impact areas of the foot. As a national strategic partner of the American diabetes association, MediPEDS is committed to helping people who suffer from this disease.

I have peripheral neuropathy and need soft comfortable socks. When I read about these online
These socks are going straight into my Thrift Shop pile. They are advertised to have a smooth toe seam, but they definitely do not! The seam is rough and protruding on the inside. I have peripheral neuropathy and need soft comfortable socks. When I read about these online, I thought they'd fit the bill. If you can stand the toe seam, they seem to be a nice sock otherwise. Unfortunately for me, the search continues.

Not seamless toe
The fit was great, but I was expecting a seamless toe, as was advertised. Also, as you can see in the picture, there are a lot of extra threads that weren't removed prior to shipping. They wash nicely and do not shrink. They feel good on your feet.

No strangulating
I'm one of those hypersensitive fibromyalgia types, who's picky about texture and seams and thickness. And I'm allergic to latex elastic. I was disappointed to find basic athletic socks getting tighter and typer as they got cheaper. I finally caved and bought one of these more expensive pairs at a box store. Love them, so came and bought more here. I can't speak as to the longevity since I've only had them about 3 weeks, but they're soft and the right thickness without being too thick. They stay up without being tight. Although if you have really skinny legs they might be a little loose. I will buy again. Wish they were a little less expensive though.

wonderful!
I orginally thought these were not soft enough on the inside for my poor feet so i turned them inside out. I decided to were them as they should be to work Monday 8 hours on my feet on cement floors. I was very surprised ... My feet did not hurt all day, they didnt sweat, the inside was very very comfortable, not bothering my toes with the seam. I bought i think 8 but i am all buying more. I have had problems with my feet since i was a kid. I have bought socks after socks over the years (shoes also). I have gone home limping because my feet hurt so bad. These are the best for sensitive feet.I will not buy anything else.

NOT DIABETIC
Top is definitely binding even though I am very thin.It feels like elastic above the ankle. Fabric snagged before it was even washed.VERY thin - so O K for summer only - if you can tolerate the compression tops.I am only keeping because I can't find a comfortable sock. I challenge Amazon tocome up with a better option for NON-ELASTIC, NON-BINDING, SEAMLESS, WARM WINTERsocks with REAL cushion soles.

Nice if you have leg problems
Having had health issues with both legs , I need comfortable socks. These are soft and stretchy , not too binding at the top, yet they stay up nicely and don’t sag on your leg. They feel warm in the winter, yet not too hot in the summer. The material they’re made of isn’t super thick, but it’s breathable and feels nice on your feet. I’ve had these for a couple years and recently bought 3 more packs.Don’t worry about the shrinkage that some folks complain of. They look like they shrink when you wash them, but easily stretch to fit the same as brand new.Highly recommended if you have leg or foot issues. A bit more expensive than Walmart socks, but the last package of them I bought, I threw away. Too tight and binding.

Nope nope nope!!!
Never again! These socks are cut straight across and have way too much fabric in the toe area, which then bunches up in my shoes. Very uncomfortable and, frankly, unwearable except as slipper socks in the house. Very disappointing.

Disappointing
From the description, I expected more generous padding of the heel, toe, and foot bed. I was also disappointed to find that these socks bind, leaving deep indentations on my legs.
