I have this for my pool speakers better than running some external or phone speaker. the best part that it auto shut off when not in used, so if you forget to turn it off, your good. the battery runs for hours, it hasn't shut off at all but it is summer season with these heatwaves. the sound quality is pretty solid, the build quality is good and looks like a rock so win- win. it was easy to setup, Bluetooth and connect. basically, you never have to touch it except to press the on button to connect. always fully charge cause it charges itself due to the solar looks like rock so no one knows is a speaker, I mean its obvious but blends in with my rocks, doesn't feel out of place. is what I mean.

**Update** The replacement speaker came in today. I synced it with the other one and OMG!!! They are fantastic!!!! The other speaker was just defective. Having two functioning speakers makes our backyard into party central! Couldn’t be happier! I ordered a set of these. One is crisp, clear, and fairly loud. The other I have returned for a replacement. It sounded terrible, low volume, low quality, crackly sounding. Had I not bought 2 and saw what they were supposed to sound like, I would have asked for a refund. Instead, I asked for them to replace the defective one. I’m hoping it arrives with the same level of quality as the first one. I really wish they were a touch louder. They are good, but squeezing a few more watts in would have made them great. Technically, they are easy to set up and use. They connect to one another seamlessly and we’re ready to go in under 5 minutes. I let them charge initially until they were fully charged before I tried to use them. Aesthetically, they look nice. I ordered the stone color and it works for us. Obviously it doesn’t look exactly like a rock, but if placed in an environment around other rocks I feel it wouldn’t look too out of place. In retrospect, I’m pleased with the one (crossing my fingers on the replacement) but wish they were just a touch louder for that “party” feel. That being said, 2 fully working units may make all the difference in the world!

We bought two speakers and will definitely buy more! The sound is incredible, the rock look blends into the gardens perfectly, and range is pretty good about 30 feet but we will try to see if we can go out further!

Design First, the speaker was bigger than I thought. Granted I didn’t read the specs, but when it’s on your patio it’s less of a rock and more of a small boulder, which might lead people to wonder what a small boulder is doing on your patio. However, the size contributes to a bigger sound, which is the tradeoff. The “rock camouflage” is passable, but it’s kind of obvious that it’s not a rock. In other words, is it that much better than just a grey box? Not really. But it isn’t an eyesore, just looks a little weird. Sound The sound is definitely the highlight. While it’s obviously not the best speaker in the world (ie, not great bass), it is LOUD and really fills a space. If you had two, you’d really be in business. I tested with with Jack White No Name album and was waiting for my neighbors to start complaining. Certainly it’s an advantage that you can just leave it outside and not worry about it, and will self charge via solar panels (I didn’t get a chance to really test that.) In short, I would recommend these to a homeowner with an enough property that you won’t bug the neighbors; if you live in an apartment or city environment you might consider a smaller speaker. I will also add this speaker has great bluetooth range. I was hundred of feet away from it, and it was still reading my phone/spotify. This is a huge plus for entertaining when we are running around after kids, grabbing stuff etc.

The sound is amazing on this speaker and it looks great in our backyard. We’ve only charged it once in 3 months and use it about 4-5 times a week. The solar charging definitely works. Highly recommend this product!

Purchased this speaker in mid July and worked well; we kept the speaker under a covered area of our backyard to protect it from rain. Within two months, the speaker would not turn on. We charged it for several hours and followed the troubleshooting steps Vitriola/Amazon list, and nothing worked. The company was unresponsive when I called to seek to use the warranty for a replacement speaker or a refund. During the company’s hours of operations, no one answers the phone - calls go to voicemail and they don’t bother to return messages. After 4 weeks of trying to get in touch with them, had to seek Amazon’s help; Amazon agreed to let us return the speaker to Amazon even though it was outside of the 30 day free return period, because they recognized the company was being unresponsive (Amazon rep also tried calling). Unfortunately, Amazon docked us $15 which is typically done when they accept a return outside of the 30 day return period, but at least we got rid of this poorly made speaker (with equally poor customer service). Buyer beware - seek other outdoor speakers; this one looks nice, but what good is that if it won’t work?

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We’ve been using the Victrola Rock Speaker Connect in our backyard along with four other units, and the setup has been amazing. What I love most is how they all sync together—no need for one huge speaker blasting sound in one direction. The audio quality is surprisingly rich, and the coverage is perfect for outdoor gatherings or just relaxing outside. It can be a little tricky to connect everything at first, but once it’s set up, it works so much better than dealing with wires and a bulky receiver. Overall, it’s a fantastic product that blends great sound with convenience. Highly recommend!
