This handmade wood farmer & dog ornament was made by upcycling a piece of a hand cut wood Farm Animals puzzle that was made by the Chad Valley Games Co. of the UK in the 1940s. Most of the Farm Animals puzzles were made with smaller sized animals, and this oversized puzzle was very rare. This wood ornament is a great idea for a gift under $50 for anyone loving the beautiful animals of the farm! The wood piece is 2-3/4" wide, 4" high and 3/8" thick. The thick vintage dark brown leather cord has a drop of 2" to the top of the farmer's head. I adhered two vintage brass bails to the back of the wood piece and strung the cord through those bails and knotted it. The cord knotted ends are secured with wood glue to the wood back of the ornament piece. I added one wood bead on the hanging cord.
