Does not stay up
I used this recently on a dive. The boltsnap and spool are good. The color of the SMB is good. However, when fully inflated, it does not stand up. Sitting on the surface with it and putting in air until the pressure release let air out, the top of the SMB was too heavy and it folded over. This is a bummer as this item's purpose is to mark a diver in the water. The fact that the pressure release went off so soon means it simply cannot hold enough pressure to keep it straight. I did find the pouch for the spool to be nice as it was also an area I could add a weight to keep it up at the surface. I would look for one that can hold more pressure.

Really nice DSMB!
This is a really nice DSMB. That's correct, it's a DSMB, not an SMB. The difference is this has an overpressure relief valve that allows you to deploy it at depth. The line is flat, and includes a swivel leader and a glove compatible tab on the end. Those features are usually only found on really expensive finger reels. I also like that the manufacturer loaded the spool correctly. Most manufacturers fully load the spool and you have to cut of 50' or so to make it usable. They even included a double ended clasp and a storage pocket for the spool, so this DSMB is ready for the water. My only ding is they didn't sew in a clear pocket for a light stick for night diving. Other than that, this is a near perfect DSMB for an excellent price.
