I have a neighbor that has bird feeders out all spring summer and fall, but he never refills them in the winter! And this winter in New England has been very cold and very, very snowy. After watching the birds stop off at my neighbor’s empty feeders, I decided to put some out. I filled up the feeder one afternoon and the next morning when I woke up, it was birds galore! The seed is good quality, but it is expensive for the amount that you get.

The last seed mix I bought took the birds a few weeks to find. After many months of an empty feeder, I expected the same, however this mix attracted the birds within a day! The cardinals especially love it, which is a joy.
