Be careful when cutting light
The media could not be loaded. Love everything about the light. The different light mode and the wireless options. I will definitely purchase more and recommend to a friend.

Good color temp adjustment but wide spacing on LED's
This is a decent strip of lights but not super great in my view for a couple of reasons. The primary reason is that the LED's are spaced about 1-1/4" apart from each other, so for any type of task lighting it is going to have some funny/distracting shadows unless using a diffuser. If this is the application, you will definitely want to mount this into a channel with a diffuser case. I find these types of strips, with wide LED spacing, have a bit of a "christmas light" look and aren't all that great except for ambient splash lighting. Even then they can kind of look like a lot of point sources and a bit odd.The remote works OK, but even with a very short distance and lithium AAA batteries (it does not include batteries) it seems it sometimes simply stops working. It's a little disconcerting, but when you press on the second set of LED's with a finger and nothing attached but the dimmer, the LED's start to dimly glow. My guess is that it is interference on the controller (hopefully) and not a leakage through the LEDs from the power supply.I haven't tried the app, but the controller runs most functions and the receiver/dimmer has a few strobe and pattern effects. Because it has a data line, I am guessing you could do some patterns like a travelling warm white line with a cool white background light. I didn't see anything like this out of the box, but it seems like it probably has this capability. On the plus side, it runs at 24 V which means it will put power fairly consistently along the length of the strip. For the price, if it gets you up and going and meets your needs then it could be a good value and 5 stars. I can't really speak to the true CRI or quality of the light. Again, because it is using two LED's for color blending and has no integrated diffuser, it has the potential of casting two shadows per light - one from the warm LED and one from the cold (color temp) one.

Seems well made, includes a remote even though intended for an app, variety of temperature control.
Oddly, on opening the foil pouch containing the light itself, I got a strong odor of disinfectant. The company address on the front of the booklet is in Germany, not China, but the phone number given is in China. They promise free replacement for 12 months, and they attribute most failures to handling in shipping, with a failure rate of 0.1% - 0.3% - and they give both an email address and a phone number (in China). The box has indicators for whether it's waterproof, neither of which was selected, and for model number, none of which was selected. The Amazon sticker is right next to these options, and it has a more complete description. Sorry, I tend to notice details that many consider irrelevant. The strip is adhesive-backed, and they also included a set of clips, which they apparently intend for use when turning corners where the strip adhesive may not hold well, and for holding the power adapter and controller, which don't have adhesive. The clips have screw holes, but they didn't include screws, only adhesive pads. The strip is made up of sections, and the sections are 7 7/8" / 20cm apart, which is a bit wider than what I've normally seen, but it'll work. These sections have 6 six pairs of two LEDs, each pair separated by a black chip. The LED sections are about 1 1/4" / 33mm apart. One LED is warm white, one is cool white, and it can mix them to achieve the temperature you want. You can cut the sections apart at the marked lines, if you need to trim it to length. Since this strip is 10M / 32.8ft, a lot of people will want to trim it. The strip is about 8mm wide, and it uses three wires. The listing recommends the connectors at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBPPTB6Z, but your mileage may vary. Connectors can be used to cut and reconnect the strip, which can be useful for adding extensions and using one strip to light up areas that are not contiguous. This light strip is 24 volts, so you can't swap the power adapter for USB. It's also a rather small adapter physically for 24 volts with 1 amp. It has a nice feel to it.The remote control does not have batteries, but this uses a Bluetooth controller, so the idea is that most users will use the app rather than the remote. Note that it's Bluetooth, not wifi, so it won't work with most smarthome systems. The remote is also 2.4GHz wireless, though it has an LED on the front - you don't want to need line-of-sight for a lighting controller, since it will often be hidden. (You can use the app to control whether your light will respond to any remote or only a specific remote - that will be needed if you have different ones in different areas.) The remote has 6 different color temperature options in addition to up/down, and it has 4 different brightness settings in addition to up/down. There are also three schedule buttons and a 60-second delay off button, but how the schedule buttons work isn't clear. The controller that connects directly to the lights has a button to rotate between 12 modes, in addition to a power button. The app was simple to connect, since the connection is Bluetooth rather than wifi. The name is also not associated with the light brand, since it's "ZENGGE". Oddly, the app has three sections for color and brightness, CCT, Warm, and Cool.CCT has a color wheel for picking the color you want and a Brightness slider for picking, well, the brightness you want. Warm and Cool each control only their respective LEDs and turn the other one off. They each have a color wheel, but since it just controls the brightness of its LEDs, a single slider would work just as well - and since using either tab turns the other one off, you can't use the two sliders to tune the exact color you want. It's kind of overly complicated - it only needs four sliders, and they could be in two sections on a single tab - warm brightness and cool brightness, for those who prefer to control it that way, and temperature and brightness, for those who prefer to control it that way. The way the app is, I expect everyone will stick with the CCT tab, unless they want a "pure" warm or cool, since those tabs don't allow blending. The CCT tab also has 5 preset buttons which work like a car radio presets - hold the button for a moment to save the current settings, or quickly tap to load the settings. There are two other tabs. The Candle tab *does* have sliders for color and brightness, together with "amplitude" selection buttons (low, medium, or high), and a speed slider. It sets the strip to pulse like an electronic candle. The random factor makes it less obvious, but I think the amplitude selection controls, to an extent, the difference between the high brightness and the low brightness of the pulses. It doesn't just switch between low and high brightness though; I saw at least three levels. Similarly, the cycling speed has a random factor too, since it's trying to replicate an organic candle. Changes to this tab aren't instant - you have to make your changes then "send" them to the strip. All the other settings take effect immediately. The Mic tab sets the light flash to music. It's supposed to change color based on the music, but I couldn't tell the difference - it seemed to shift color a bit over time, not related to the sound. You can change the microphone sensitivity and the pattern, like whether it fades in/out with the sound, or jumps straight to full brightness and back off, or if it strobes while it's on.And there are buttons at the top for power. One is a straight power button to turn the light off. Set any color or brightness for it to come back on.One button with a timer icon sets a delayed power on/off, either "Gradient", which changes slowly over the time you set (slowly get brighter/darker over, say, 10 minutes), or "Delay" which waits the specified delay and turns them on/off (though it still uses a fade). And the third button has an alarm clock icon, and it lets you set timers. These timers can either just turn on/off (or change the temperature) at the specified time, or they can simulate sunrise/sunset with a fade on/off over the period you specify. And you can specify whether the fade uses the warm LEDs, the cool LEDs, or the last setting of the CCT tab.You can set up groups of devices in the app, you can rename devices, and you can update the firmware. And you can select whether to allow radio remotes, not to allow radio remotes, to allow only remotes that are already paired, and to clear all paired remotes.Summary: 5 stars out of 5. The app doesn't need separate tabs for Warm and Cool, and combining them could allow more granular control of temperature, but that isn't enough by itself to drop a star.

These lights are fantastic!!!
These lights are a must for under and around your cabinets under your bed around the back of your TV anywhere you can think of that you need extra lighting. Not only do they give you enough light to see in certain areas better you have an array of white shades of color. Then after you pick the color you want you can set a percentage of brightness from 25% to 100%. I always thought they would be great in my kitchen and since I decided to tile and paint I figured why not put up the extra lighting I had tried the ones that you charge and you stuck under the cabinets and those are just I don’t know what to say. They just don’t work that well unless you’re very diligent about constantly taking them down and recharging them, this is something that I don’t have to worry about the 32 feet it came with was exactly the amount I needed. It turned out to go around the entire underneath the cabinets along the upper sink area around more under cabinets around the refrigerator and then one more cabinet obviously this is considered a size kitchen and I’ve seen plenty of kitchens much smaller so you would have a lot of lighting left that she just cut off and toss out. You just have to make sure you cut it exactly where they tell you to there is a line on the lights that is where you cut them . In the photographs, I am showing you the yellow spectrum up to the bright white spectrum. My personal favorite is the yellow spectrum. I think it looks warmer but if you like your kitchen, nice and bright, then you would want to go up to the white spectrum not only that, these are at the lowest level of brightness in the photos . So easy to put up with the double-sided sticky tape that is already on the strip of lights. They are definitely sticky enough to stay put. They come with a remote control that has many choices of colors and brightness to choose from it also has a timer. Very inexpensive lighting. That looks amazing.
