Confront the creatures that go bump in the night! Bestiary 4 presents hundreds of new monsters for use in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Within this tome of terrors you'll find pitiless psychopomps and blood-drinking nosferatu, insectile formians and faceless nightgaunts, and even unique mythological horrors like Spring- Heeled Jack and Grendel himself. Yet not every creature need be an enemy, as mighty empyreal lords, primeval outer dragons, and valorous swan maidens enlist you in their epic battles! Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Bestiary 4 is the fourth indispensable volume of monsters for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and serves as a companion to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook and Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary. This imaginative tabletop game builds upon more than 10 years of system development and an Open Playtest featuring more than 50,000 gamers to create a cutting-edge RPG experience that brings the all-time best-selling set of fantasy rules into the new millennium. Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 4 includes more than 300 different monsters, including creatures from classic horror literature and monster films, including the colour out of space, elder things, and kaiju. There are new creatures you can construct, like clockworks and juggernauts, new familiars, animal companions, and other allies, new templates to help you get more life out of classic monsters. As well as appendices to help you find the right monster, including lists by Challenge Rating, monster type, and habitat, expanded universal monster rules to simplify combat, challenges for every adventure and every level of play... and much, much more! Pocket Edition is a good value for old school DMs who plan with pen and paper
My group of players is devoted to Pathfinder 1st Edition, so I bought this cheap, smaller scale version of the Bestiary to use into the future. I'm not a fan of the complexity of this game and, unless you're very well versed in the particulars of the game, many of the higher level monsters in this book will require a decent amount of prep to play. Many of these monsters might never be used, but the price of this "pocket" edition lessens that sting.

Gurgle gurgle
It has a lot of monsters I don't think I could ever use in my games, but their "old one" inclusions are pretty golden

A must have for any Pathfinder player or GM
These are more affordable and easier to carry to game sessions. I use these more than the hard cover books.

Livro de RPG.
Livro de RPG. Para jogar RPG. RPG.(sarcasmo)Bem, é um livro colorido e cheio de minúcias mas não vale o preço (como todo o livro de RPG). Foi puro consumismo.

The book is double printed, makes the words and images so ridiculously hard to read.
The book spine isnt cracked which is good, but the book has no use at all if you cant read it. I'm really disappointed that Paizo Staff let this be sent out to a customer without review the product first. Definitely returning this and getting back my money.

Like the hardcover, but smaller.
A very good companion for not-at-home games.
